Hi, i was applying for SC credit card (not ultimate), My company is not on there approved list so i was just trying my luck. After submitting information it automatically started showing it as approved (SC Ultimate), but i was not applying for that card. There is also not option to proceed further in documents section. Can anyone tell me what this approve means? Im i approved for card or eligible to apply for card? i also ask to customer support in chat they also said its showing as approved. They also did cibil inquiry

Use this card to load paytm wallet after activating paytm load wallet with cc offers in offer section. Then pay all cc bills. ( Dont transfer to bank. Paytm will block ur account) you'll get close to 2% for cc bill payment by this way. And ofcourse rent payment too.
Would paytm not charge some amount for money (2% -3%) for loading money into wallet via credit card ?

They do. But they also generally give 2% cashback offer very frequently (you have to activate in wallet offers section) for wallet load via cc. My account charges 2.35% so my effective fee is 0.35%. smart card offers 2% cb. So my effective reward rate for wallet load is 1.65% which I use for paying cc bill.

If you have Stanc Account than they didnt need any KYC, instant approval happened

I also went through the same process, i even got the confirmation on my company email that card is approved but after video KYC the card was declined, they did cibil twice for the same application, this happened 6 months ago even though i now get calls which says credit card is pre approved but i m not interested axis, SBI, ICICI, HDFC are far better

No bro.. After 2 days i got a call from SC, confirming details. After that i received a E-kyc link in which i have to do my aadhar verification through OTP. After completing that i received another link in which i have to fill all my details. It was on 28th SEP done that as well, I asked them on twitter they said to wait 10 working days. If anyones knows what happens next please let me know..
You received any update from SC?. Facing similar issue. Showed approved online on 29th september. They did not even send me any kyc link till now .

SC Ult is a mediocre card

Personally i think someone who has infinia probably takes two flights a year and all the points accrued on Infinia would be utilised there or for someone else's tickets.
Correct. Same way StanC has some useful redemption options like Croma voucher and it's fee is half of Infinia. Infinia/Magnus is still the best card but Stanc is not bad enough to be called mediocre is my point. Remember it's one of the very very few cards which gives 3.3% reward rate for offline transactions.

Yea the 3.3% applicable to fuel spending too which makes us no worries of surcharge levied since 3.33% minus 1.18% also beats the industry peers🙂
