Steps for getting invite for RBL Zomato Edition CC

Initially I heard from a youtuber that I can request the bank for the card but even he was not sure about the approach.

Step 1: I posted a tweet tagging RBL bank and RBL care team that I am interested in their Zomato Edition Card. The bank replied that it is invite based card and wait for the invite to get the card.



Step 2: I noticed a reply from Edition team, which I suppose is the official account by Zomato to DM them my registered phone and email address. Initially I ignored the reply since it was already deferred by the banking partner. But, then I thought of giving it a try and replied to Edition team with my details on DM.



Step 3: Exactly after 4 days of providing my zomato account details the Edition team reverted back and asked me check my Zomato account after 24-48 hours for the invite. This morning when I checked my Zomato app, I saw the invite visible in Money tab.

Step 4: Just provided my PAN details in the Zomato app and within 2 minutes my Credit Limit was displayed. I completed my KYC with the bank and within 30 minutes received mail that my virtual card is active to use.

I have tried my best to jot down the steps and all the necessary things which I did to get the card. Please feel free to ask thing regarding the same. I will be more than happy to help.

Hi. Kindly tell that after video kyc done.. In how many days card is dispatched by RBL and by which courier? Do they send a tracking link...
Is it true that till u receive the actual physical card by delivery you can't see the full card number in Zomato app and can't use it??

1. After approval of vkyc they took 2-3 days, then it was dispatched.
2. Yes, you get Bluedart tracking link.
3.Yes, till you get real card full card number is not visible.

Did RBL enquiry done on rejected as well as accepted application, ending with 2 enquiry back to back?

No only 1 enquiry was done because previously on the Rejected Application the location was not serviceable they instantly showed me rejected without asking any details.

How do we determine the RBL application is "Rejected"? My status said Card cannot be issued now and asks me to try later. Is that a sign of rejection of application? Contacted RBL but they replied like a bot. No use.

My area is non serviceable but I got invitation, can I apply in metro area and can do vkyc also. But pan card address will be from non service area only. Is it OK?

didn't applied... lots of people reported that their application is being rejected because they already have RBL card... so... decided to email RBL first 😂

So let me share How I got the card-
I already have Bajaj RBL Supercard. I contacted zomato customer care via chat and requested them for the card invitation. Within 24 hours, I got the invitation. As I already had RBL card, they just did my video KYC and the card was immediately approved. The credit limit is combined (Supercard+Edition card) just like what Axis Bank offers for multiple card holders.

Many people here have got really good Limits on the RBL Zomato Card.
I got it approved, but with a 50k limit though !

The limit roams around the maximum credit limit on your previous cards fetched from your bureau report, some sources say !!

Not true, my first card (around 4 years ago), had more limit than it, which too with time has gone up !


Though my Axis card has even lower limit, but they are notorious and known for it.

Was surprised when this happened with RBL !

Possible! But in this thread only, someone with 16 Lacs got a credit limit of 4.45lacs, so it means relative to everyone!!

Yes, its a good card.

It has other offers and benefits than just zomato.

Update : Received invite through email but clicking on link it redirects to zomato app and there is nothing mentioned about card in app. They teasing me😏

After tweeting i got some mails from Zomato (check attachments) is this really invite for card ? But when i click on get card it shows my wallet is being activated it is from 1.5 month written mail but still not activated , what should i do ?
