Steps for getting invite for RBL Zomato Edition CC

Initially I heard from a youtuber that I can request the bank for the card but even he was not sure about the approach.

Step 1: I posted a tweet tagging RBL bank and RBL care team that I am interested in their Zomato Edition Card. The bank replied that it is invite based card and wait for the invite to get the card.



Step 2: I noticed a reply from Edition team, which I suppose is the official account by Zomato to DM them my registered phone and email address. Initially I ignored the reply since it was already deferred by the banking partner. But, then I thought of giving it a try and replied to Edition team with my details on DM.



Step 3: Exactly after 4 days of providing my zomato account details the Edition team reverted back and asked me check my Zomato account after 24-48 hours for the invite. This morning when I checked my Zomato app, I saw the invite visible in Money tab.

Step 4: Just provided my PAN details in the Zomato app and within 2 minutes my Credit Limit was displayed. I completed my KYC with the bank and within 30 minutes received mail that my virtual card is active to use.

I have tried my best to jot down the steps and all the necessary things which I did to get the card. Please feel free to ask thing regarding the same. I will be more than happy to help.

I don't want the card but I wanted to try this. No shit but this trick is still working. Sent an message on 18th on twitter to zomato support & in less than 48hrs I'm seeing an option to apply for card. Crazy dude

@TechnoFino something shitty is happening. I haven't applied for zomato edition card but after this trick zomato edition card application popped up in the app. Now, think is everytime I open the app to order something I'm seeing new credit inquiry from RBL. I ordered yesterday from zomato & there was cibil inquiry, ordered today I'm seeing another cibil inquiry. What to do here?

Yep. No shit. Finally opened Zomato app today for order & decided to take the card since there were already 2Enquiries from RBL. No idea how they got my details but step 1 & 2 were already pre-filled for me. Did vKYC & card was approved immediately. The only good thing was no new Enquiry was made from RBL.
Kudos to the person who posted the trick. It's even working after 4Months

Just new to the forum, today i got approved for Edition classic card after many hurdles and rejection from them. I already hold Bajaj finserv platinum value plus credit card. Just wanted to know after recieving the edition card will i be able to cancel the bajaj card? The limit of edition and bajaj card is now same. if i close the bajaj card does the edition card also gets closed? Does anybody know?

I tried mailing them regarding changing card varient from Visa to Mastercard. RBL is still living in past at first they denied saying RBI's restrictions on Mastercard are still intact. Then I sent copy of RBI's press release now they saying not onboarding new or existing customers to mastercard

Rejected on second attempt as well. I'm not doing it again.
