Tata Motors Live on Tata Neu

I got my car serviced this Friday and was surprised to see Neucoins being added to the account after the service. For some reason, it even added a Neucoin transaction for my car purchase date. I was able to find details related to NeuPass but couldn't find if we'll get additional Neucoins using the HDFC Neu cards.

I didn't want to create a new thread for the same, but couldn't find any general Tata Neu thread.

No, I paid using bank UPI via Mobikwik. I will try Neu Infinity next time.

They may not have the same value as Amazon Pay, but they are not worthless. I have gotten 6K neucoins this year, all used for free groceries & ONDC orders, which is good enough for me.

Also, getting it from Tata Motors is just an added bonus. My car would have been serviced with or without it, at least now it got me 2 wada pav 😉.

If you are regular user of bigbasket ot 1mg then it has value. otherwise not.

Are you sure that after applying the neucoins, the remaining order value fulfils 20% discount voucher criteria? I just checked and if the remaining order value is more than 2000, it is allowing me to do that (attached screenshot)


I usually collect 2-3K coins and place an order with 100% neucoins.

use of coins is not isolated. it is linked to the original purchase value. you buy 100 and get 20 discount and then buy 5 using coins. so its basically paying 80 to get 105 - about 24% discount.

Check the item list. For 20% discount it has many items excluded like baby food etc.

Its not new. I got 6 months back. Your mobile number should be same. You will get neucoins for tata car services.

My service was through AMC. Entire bill was adjusted by AMC issued at that time only. I paid through DCB.

Yes yes but we never have any need for baby food, etc.
I always got 500 on 2500 discount for every IndusInd exclusive debit card every month

Did they charge you extra for paying via CC for service?
Also, was there any capping for this 5%? So total you get 6% cb i.e. 1% for NeuPass and 5% for CC?

Yes I get 6% on total paid service. The 1% is based on registered mobile no linked to your car on tata motors system and applicable on any form of payment, incl UPI. The mobile no on tata motors must be same as the mobile no linked to tataneu. 5% on TN card is based on the card machine used. I now specifically tell them to use the tata provided machine.
Workshop did not ask for extra charge for paying through cards
