HDFC Tata Neu Rupay credit cards are now supported on BHIM and other UPI apps for merchant payments.

One vendor said that for an IOB current account they charge 320 plus gst if he transacts below 10k in a month here bank is surviving from this poor vendor

if you recently added your card on BHIM then you may wait for at max 2 days and then start doing transactions.

It's a old card registered for upi since 3 months. Let me retry after a day or two.

Till now I have only faced problem with one phonepe merchant QR where BHIM app gave error that you are sending money to saving account and it didn't let me do transaction. For Gpay/Paytm/BharatPe merchant QR even if linked with Savings account, no problem.

I have this exact problem with a lot of Phonepe Merchant QRs. What is the solution here?

No solution. Payment via credit card upi will not work on those merchant qr.

That's unfortunate. Don't know the exact problem here. Paytm, Gpay, Bharatpe merchant QRs work fine but only Phonepe has this problem. Did you encounter any Phonepe merchant QR that works with credit UPI ?

Yes, 7 out of 10 worked without an issue.

Well for me none worked. Idk if I'm wrong but those phonepe QRs seemed old. Like they were issued long ago. Maybe that's the reason they don't work.

if you have updated gpay in last 2 weeks then paying cc bill via upi apps has gone. I also wanted to experience how it works but as I keep my phone always updated, I found that new updates of gpay and payzapp does not allow paying cc bills anymore.
