Will it make sense if i take it after holding Magnus card?

For utilities also there are some gift card tricks that can be done using Magnus I read somewhere in this forum.

Never checked these super premium cards benefits, as my thoughts ended till Axis ACE only.

If you really want to take ace, no need for GPAY i guess. I applied offline, they rejected, then I applied for Magnus, approved, then for ace and approved so looks like they approve easily for ace to magnus holders

Utility 5% - I don't see any point unless you have large utility bills. This can be easily covered by 10k monthly Apay voucher on amazon. That too at much higher reward rate

Blanket 2% everywhere - Magnus spends have notional 4.8% + helps in 1L per month too. DCB/Infinia if you have they are better at 3.33%. I feel SBI cashback is of some use as it promises 5% off in places no other card might work online

Upgrade to reserve: I am not aware.

offline - c2c dont remember but mostly on basis of magnus because lady who applied my card didnt asked anything other than basic info

Okay.. I was asking when you first applied for ace which was rejected. Was that application c2c or normal one?

I don’t think it adds any value if you already hold Magnus and don’t have exorbitant utility bills.
And for upgrade you can get reserve now too if you want, holding Ace will not matter if you already hold a Magnus.

As per my understanding, It won't help in getting upgrade offer for Reserve as Reserve is Edge point based card and Ace is cashback based. I alreday hold Magnus, Flipkart and Axis MyZone card. I tried to upgrade Axis Flipkart to Reserve and they told it's not possible. They were ready to upgrade Myzone card to Reserve as it's edge point based card. So, I had to close Flipkart card and applied Reserve card. May be the customer care executive didn't give proper information but I needed Reserve as I had international trips so went ahead with whatever customer executive suggested.

get it, its the one Axis card that's actually worth it if you are not travelling or huge Income

Axis ace vs Axis Flipkart for offline spends purely

Does it make sense to get axis ace for offline spends if it's purely going to be used for offline spends? I don't have much of utilities to pay - but i see most of the members here have an Ace. Is there anything I'm missing?

I got 2% for paying property tax. But while paying the payment portal said 5097, but in my axis statement it said 5147, they've added extras but I did get 2%
