What is your "ONE" go-to Breakfast item??

That makes sense.

So, your definition of pure vegetarianism appears to be same as mine, -- except that I don't know how you treat onions and garlic which are considered to be "non-veg" by some! Even masoor dal is supposed to be non-veg to some people!
.
Anything coming from plants is good for me (excl. the exceptions are obvious) which included onion garlic & masoor...infact black masoor being one of my favs !! 😍

By "pure vegetarian" I just meant that I don't take egg too...as I'm aware of ppl who consider eggs as veg diet (u can have differing views here) !!

And I can't take milk but can take dahi & paneer, as I'm kind of lactose intolerant....can take milk in small qty only in form of sweet dishes like kheer etc. & not directly !!
Kinda same for me.
I didn't test if I am lactose intolerant, but I feel better when I avoid milk products and oily stuff. Tiny quantities of sweets like kaju katli etc don't disturb the balance.
I avoid sweets/sugars/cool drinks/tea/coffee/ etc anyway.
So it works both ways.

boiled egg whites (3-4) + soaked dry fruits (mix of almonds, figs, walnuts and black raisins) coupled with Herbalife Afresh. This keeps me going till 2 in afternoon. Turmeric Milk is in night before sleep.

Idly/Dosa with Groundnut/Coconut chutney + Tomato/Sweet Ginger Chutney sometimes with Authentic Thick breakfast Sambar. Nothing can beat this breakfast.

Eat raw & fresh as much as possible.
Start with protein or fibre e.g. 🥒 .
From noon to sunset you can digest anything.
But need to keep count of calories.
okay cool, I try to include proteins in every meal.
Hard to do so as Indian foods are high carbs and low proteins
