Hey everyone! I opened this thread so that anyone who has had an exceptional experience(or otherwise) with any bank can share their thoughts and experiences to help others decide when they open an account somewhere. I currently hold accounts with SBI, BOB and HDFC. My experience thus far with HDFC has led me to believe they may just be the best bank in India. I'm waiting to hear from you all.

Have used Axis App and it's very close to iMobile App in terms of functionality and fanciness

In regards to branch: Had good experience with HDFC, Axis and a not so good experience with ICICI.
Customer care: Good experience with HDFC and ICICI
CC Customer care: HDFC > ICICI > AXIS > BOB > SBM

Pathetic customer Services from HDFC even after multiple escalations 😞. Better at ICICI. RMs in both are of no use. Now trying my luck with axis

Just less charges & free services for Preffered customers with low crowd,
for me it's now just alternative of SBI where is lot of crowd.
(I had opened HDFC SA for just Smartbuy and haven't used Smartbuy since months bcoz of Cashback SBI & Gyftr YONO)

Axis has unimaginable charges and also many services have charges,
They can recover what they have given us as benefits in just one charge which we were not aware of....

I have burgundy account so no charges of any kind till now.

I have opened multiple accounts in the last year and here is my ranking
1.Axis Burgundy
2. IndusInd Pioneer
3. ICICI Wealth
4. HDFC preferred
Maybe the people preferring HDFC is because of their past experiences. As a new customer it is a pathetic bank barely above sbi. Took me more than a month to get a secured credit card.

Not just that. They don't care about loyal customers. Retention team is hopeless. Technology has always been age old.
It has become PSU bank more than actual PSU bank.
