Yes Bank Reserv + 3X Subscription Plan

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new card to complement my Infinia. The main goal is to increase the rewards rate for a few lakhs of donations towards NGOs (both Indian and International). BOGO on movies, and rewards on rental and UPI transactions will be great to have but not necessary.

I recently came across the YES Reserv card, along with the 3X subscription offer for all spends. The following is how I see the reward rates:
  • 9% Points on Online Shopping (except on Select categories)**
  • 4.5% Points on Offline Shopping (except on Select categories)
  • 2.25% Points on Select categories
Assuming 25 paise per RP redemption rate, for flights and hotels.

The 9% rewards rate seems just too good to be true. Can anyone confirm? If it is indeed true, then why is this not the most talked about card for Forex transactions?

P.S: I don't mind paying the annual fee given the rewards.

Can anyone clearly specify the spend amount required in a month to get 75000 bonus points as per 3x as well as 5x?
Also, please specify the base points we get for that spend

Third statement generated. They have again done some mess up. This time I have more reward points than expected. And customer care is telling me some very weird calculations.

My previous case of missing points from Amazon 2 months back is still pending. I guess I will leave it this time, as I have got more than what I was missing as Extra🤦‍♂️.

P.S. My iris application and netbanking is still not allowing me to check anything. However, Card transactions and Reward redemptions are working.
4th statement generated. And this time quite a ton of points are missing 🤦‍♂️. Seems like transactions on 27th/28th are also missed this time. Hopefully will get it next month. It's all so much confusing 😔.

No, 18k i mentioned is card bonus points of 12/200 for online transactions.

Subscription plan is 75K limit (I didn't reach 75K yet). I did reach 70K+ as bonus 2x points (24/200 for online and 12/200 for select).

Also, for utility as per new terms it is 750, but I wasn't able to test it, as my transactions (7th March) probably fall in old rules, where there was no capping and got full points even above 25K spends.

Where did you get the 750 cap for utilities? I can't find this on the landing page for the subscription on the YesBank website.

There was devaluation from 7th March onwards. It's part of card feature, not subscription.
Aah, okay, thanks. Does that mean the subscription points are not capped but the base points are? Or is it all going to be capped? I found the page you are referencing and another thing I noticed is that they seem to specify this only for utilities and not insurance MCCs (usually these two are treated the same by Yes Bank otherwise, I believe).

Could be anything. You will have to try and see. But now a days I am finding it difficult to even do that, as points are not matching whatever calculations I do literally every month.

To be safe, don't do utility mcc transaction. There is 1% extra convinience fee also now on that for spends over 15/20k.
