interesting to know i closed 7-8 cards this month, like 1st week of feb and hdfc, icici, federal bank have closed the cards on cibil but the reporting date is of jan when the cards were active. I guess while closing cards on cibil doesn't matter reporting. Does everyone know this?
Totally depends on bank, and from this year banks are forced by RBI for fortnight update on cibil, and banks are trying to follow the same, so some are considering for billing date and billing +15 days, some are 1st, 15th, 30th etc there are various reporting seen by banks.

On part of closure this is also follows, but sometime they even didn't update for 3 months.

Also I found my kotak closed card becomes active after 6 months of closing.

Uncertainties everywhere

closed card came up active on cibil? first time i am hearing abt this lol

and I am happy banks are showing cards as closed on CIBIL as soon as possible (mine took may be 10-15 days only) but I would think when they report a card is closed, the date of reporting also shows current but in my case cards that i closed 2 weeks back shows up closed now(I noticed it today) but the "date of reporting" is still of last month's.

yes thats new pattern in making but need SSV approval which Shall happen by early March
@SSV add this too.
On due date+3 days SBI reports statement balance whereas on 15th and 30th SBI reports outstanding as on date.
Yes.. my sbi balance was now reported as on 15/02 , which was rather very fast turnaround .. it took only 2 days ie today is 17th to report balance as on 15/02..
My last reported was as on 30/01…
I will wait for my due date + 3 days reporting this month and then update the first post accordingly ..
Thanks guys

I initially believed Axis Bank would follow a 15th & 30/31st reporting schedule, but to my surprise, this month they reported to CIBIL on my statement date (12-02-2025) for my Axis MyZone card.

For my Airtel Axis card, there’s no reporting yet, which suggests they might still be following the 15th & month-end pattern for that card.

What’s puzzling is that last month, both MyZone and Airtel Axis were reported on 15th & month-end, but now MyZone is reported earlier on the statement date. Not sure if they will still report it again on 15th & month-end.

Let’s see how this plays out. Axis seems to be keeping us guessing! 🤔

I too have myzone, but it was not reported as on my statement date. My statement date is 2nd of every month..
We need to expect some minor inconsistency/ randomness during the initial stages,.. After a few months it will get standardized, ig

how can I pay Axis outstanding in advance, before the bill is generated? Tried SBI Unipay and Cred, both dont allow. Any idea?

What about ICICI any idea when it reports to cibil?
For most of the people its 15th and month end, for some it reported with the statement date too, but i guess in a month or two they will shift to 15th and month end as that will be the standard practice around most of the banks

So a question.

I had coral visa from 8 yrs, rubyx/sapp from 8 months, rupay aswell. All had limit of 4.7L

Also I had apay card with 5L limit.

Now I have closed apay card, and somehow my rupay card got vanished, idk what happened thr and I am too lazy to call icici for this.

Anyways as I am overleveraged, I have reduced the limit of all cards to 47k. ICICI earlier reported all my cards as one to CIBIL except apay which came seperate at CIBIL. Now apay is closed so there's only one icici card in cibil.

Now my relative who works at icici called and got me to make 50k FD and take platinum LTF card as secured coz she wanted to do her targets. I haven't activated the platinum, will prolly let it die like in 30 days. My relative have no issues with me letting the card die.

Now as I used to use rupay card alot before I got kiwi, yesterday I noticed my rupay card is gone. May be it was given to me through apay card? lol idk. I don't think I ever had rupay physical card, it was virtual only card afaik.

Now yesterday I saw apply card on UPI and saw LTF Coral rupay platinum card and as plat rupay are very beneficial for amazon billpay and swiggy, I took it. The card has been generated in ICICI INB but doesn't show up in imobile for some reason. I have the card details and the card is ready to use, I guess I'll get physical delivery soon. My main problem here is, willl ICICI report this card as seperate card in CIBIL? afaik all gemstone cards are reported as one, and that makes sense coz all those cards in INB shows under one tab only. Whenever icici reports a card seperate, the same card is shown seperately in INB too. See underneath SS, the cards are being shown seperately on the top bar. the bottom bar is fine and expected.

So will platinum card (not rupay) will be reported seperately in CIBIL, if yes, I would want to close that card right away. Will be relative lose her bonus/whatever if I close the card rn.? afaik I applied 2 weeks back.

Also, I was given 47k limit on rupay coral where as my other cards limit is 4.7L. Also platinum secured card limit is 45k(secured card).

I am really not understand the mess icici has made here. My new rupay coral card should be in a single tab with other coral/rubyx/sapp. Why is it being shown seperate? I fear they will report that card as seperate in CIBIL. Also I don't wanna close my coral visa coz it's my oldest card lol, so have emotions attached with it even though it's a useless card.

Pls guide..

You actually confused me.
saw LTF Coral rupay platinum card and as plat rupay are very beneficial for amazon billpay and swiggy,
All i know is this is coral rupay credit card which is not beneficial for Amazon pay. Rupay platinum debit card is for apay offer.
