vijay.vj

TF Ace
Anyone with ICICI credit card with minimum 4L credit limit can get privilege account which has a MAB of 1L at 0 MAB.
Given the way ICICI is generous with its credit limit enhancements, its kinda very easy to get this limit.

If you are existing ICICI savings account holder, you can fill upgrade form & enjoy the benefits.
If you don't have savings account, you can open any basic account & fill in upgrade account form.

Not much of benefits, apart from LTF platinum debit card & family banking program.
And BMS 2+2 on family debit card

the eligibility criteria for these accounts can be Modified by bank anytime without any prior Notice
so, Make sure before moving ahead
If u really want to shift then ICICI is one of the good options u have currently
Are you saying they could get rid of 0 AMB for 4L/+ limit users in the future? That could leave a bad taste.

You said 6L for wealth is discontinued. So the people who availed the service back when it was in place no longer have the benefits or they continue to do so and they stopped newly onboarding members?

A few members recently mentioned that ICICI removed the credit card criteria for its wealth accounts. Although ICICI won't downgrade wealth accounts quickly like other banks, users who no longer meet the TRV requirements may have their accounts downgraded at any time, especially after the removal of the CC criteria.

Note:
  • If a bank runs a campaign or runs a limited period offer on 0 MAB based on IP and you avail of that offer during the promotional period, your account will remain 0 MAB for life.
Example: IndusInd Partner, IndusInd Exclusive, etc. - Lifetime 0 MAB Accounts
  • If a bank sets certain eligibility criteria for offering 0 MAB, this benefit is not permanent. If the bank updates the eligibility criteria, your account status will also be updated accordingly. This is why it's important to stay informed about the latest terms and conditions.
Example: ICICI Family 360 Banking, IndusInd Exclusive/Select, IDFC Select for some customers) - Eligibility Criteria-Linked 0 MAB Accounts

Simple advice:
If you want to open this account, open it and use it until their terms are updated. :)

Thanks a TON for this. I wanted to open accounts for my family members too despite them having accounts elsewhere.

This devaluation could make things worse if I had to close accounts for all of them at a later stage.

I’ll keep mine running for now. While also being in the know of the terms, if they update whenever.
