Hi @jyothisthaliath , I believe that if our bill exceeds 40k, the Platinum Debit card would be a better option. If it's below that, then the Millenia card would still be preferable, right? The wallet load will earn reward points, and we can also use it to pay a 3k CC bill every month to earn 5% cashback (up to 150 Rupees) through SmartPay.

Millennia DC's cb can be got just by wallet load. Say you loaded Apay/Payzapp/Phonepe .. the amounts are as good as bank balance.
No reason to just use that amount for CC bill pay. You can even transfer to bank.

Whereas plat dc CB is best used for cc bill pay.

My point is, if one has mill dc, he can get 400 without any cc bill pay involved. eg. I have both mill dc and plat dc. Any day I would prefer to use Plat dc for cc bills, than the mill dc.

Here's how I did:

02.03.2025 - I registered biller (IndusInd CC) on the bill payment portal through Mobile app. In my case, the bill was already due with a date 07.03.25.

03.03.2025 - I got SMS alert that bill will be autopaid within 4 days before the due date.

04.03.2025 - Amount was debited from account and SMS came that bill was auto paid successfully

I have a bill due in 3 days so I am still guessing should I use the smartpay option or a direct one as the Smartpay will only notify prior to 4 days? Anyways this is the first time I will be trying this option, what is settlement period for the due in case they are done?

Your only option is to set up for smartpay and do the payment, if it asks for OTP then cancel it.

if you pay manually, you wont get cashback. I have tried. Not received any cashback.

Whats the merchant code that you are getting in the statement.

Also were all following steps fulfilled.

1. While registering other bank CC Biller, 'SmartPay Enabled' should be mentioned there.
2. CC Bill generated should get registered in the 'Scheduled'. (an sms would also come mentioning word 'SmartPay').
3. Let the payment happen on auto mode. (Another sms would come 2-3 days before auto payment, it would also have word 'SmartPay').
4. Amount of bill generated and paid should match. During payment it would not ask for OTP/PIN.
5. The merchant name showing in statement would be - DCSI-BBPSBILLPAY

After Autopay I got this message. Will I get Cashback.

I tried manual payment, didn't get points. Only got points in Autopay mode.

Settlement happened same day for me for Smart pay. I paid SBI and Indusind CC bill.

I read found it a bit complicated and I'm out of Platinum DC, I'm happy with millennia as it's no nonsense DC.

SBI DC+Millennia is simple and no brainer solution which suffices for me atleast.
