In my experience, regardless of your CIBIL score or income, if you've had a supplementary card previously—meaning the primary cardholder was your dad, mom, or a family relative—and kept the card active for as long as possible before canceling and reapplying after six months, you may not need income documentation for any of the top three cards, except for the Platinum Charge (because I haven't applied for it yet). That's one sure way, as everyone I've referred had to upload income documents, whereas I had a supplementary card in my name from 2015 to 2019. Now, I hold all three: Gold, Platinum Travel, and MRCC
i have not filed any itr or have salary slips as i do many things from trading to freelancing in us/uk which makes me decent money and have them deposit money to my dad account who doesnt live in india

my dad simply gives me this money from his indian bank accounts and i dont have to worry about all taxation headache

is it possible for me to get a gold charge as i want to work my way towards a plat charge in the next year or two
I'm not supposed to comment, but let me tell you something.

If your income is tentatively around 10 Lakhs as per CIBIL, and you input it as say 8 Lakhs to 12 Lakhs window or a 10 Lakhs to 15 Lakhs window, Amex doesn't ask you for income documents. But they look at the source of funds, if it is salary, either your company email will be verified or they might end up asking proof of employment. If you are self-employed, again they will verify manually if your company/shop/business is generating such profit to you and if you are saying business income for personal income.

For retired/housewife/students, you will not end up getting cards currently, until and unless you are rich and have super premium cards.

what do you mean not being given? search on this forum and you will see it is a easily doable with a minimum of 3L limit
As I said, if they are giving you for 3 Lakh, it is a steal deal. Please it.
Generally it is not possible, but due to the sales team pressure, some sales agents might have processed it.

C2C is only applicable throught Agent intervention and not through direct website route, so some agent would have processed it. Hence take it as it is really steal deal. But take it only if you have real use with the card because otherwise you'll have to shell out approx 78k including GST.

As I said, I cannot disclose information but I am assuring that it wasn't possible that a student with no income can get an Amex card in Aug 2024. He must have manipulated some information nd have got the card. This is with 100% assurance I'm telling you.
bro do you understand the meaning of “applied in front of my eyes”? your info is very wrong and you are so stuck on that point when im telling you we applied it in person and had it approved immediately with 25k limit
