Axis Airtel Card cashback blunder.

I recently got Axis Airtel Card and on generation of statement, I realised that any bill payments done on Airtel App, be it Airtel bills or others, is being counted under 25% category. This means that there is no way to tap into Rs 500 monthly utility bill payment benefit as of now.

Refer to the screenshot below. The only payment in this month was for my electricity bill of Rs 1595 and cashback shown is Rs 300 whereas it should have been Rs 159.5.



Fellow community members, I would request you to keep above in mind while getting this card or wait till Axis settles these reporting issues with Airtel.

looks like.. I did two transactions. abhi dusra bill hona baaki hai. may be my mistake.

That's why its not showing Airtel merchant name. That transaction you've done Directly on electricity board portal. You'll get 10% cashback for this txn on next bill.

I use HDFC Gyftr with DCP for Apay voucher.. 6.67% reward rate hai aur 1.5% convenience fee lagta. To effectively 5% reward. DCB rahega to 8.5% reward aur Infinia raha toh 15%

But only 1:1 if you redeem in hotels and flights? How much is the reward rate if we redeem in AGV via smartbuy?

Infinia is even better than magnus for AGV purchase. Smartbuy gives 5x compared to 3x of edge gyftr. Also conversion rate is 1:1 compared to 5:4. But hotels and flights are bit overpriced through smartbuy

I am accumulating them for hotels only. Ofc they are cheaper outside smartbuy, still better than 1% or nil reward rate from other sources.

Cashback chahiye toh debit card use kar sakte ho. Milennia debit card hai toh 10% tk cashback mil jayega
