Axis Airtel Card cashback blunder.

I recently got Axis Airtel Card and on generation of statement, I realised that any bill payments done on Airtel App, be it Airtel bills or others, is being counted under 25% category. This means that there is no way to tap into Rs 500 monthly utility bill payment benefit as of now.

Refer to the screenshot below. The only payment in this month was for my electricity bill of Rs 1595 and cashback shown is Rs 300 whereas it should have been Rs 159.5.



Fellow community members, I would request you to keep above in mind while getting this card or wait till Axis settles these reporting issues with Airtel.

Both Airtel and Axis CuC are useless in respect of this Airtel Axis Card.

in this cas 90% issue from Airtel Side because they provide MCC code to Axis for the transaction
10% issue from Axis Side because of customer excutive are not knowledge or they tried to dump i don't know

I think so as I always get 300 exactly do not know if its 10% or 25% but most probably its 25% , as 10% is almost extinct as per this conf

it is better to talk with Axis Chat Excutive they tell you in which category the transaction count

They use Bharat billpay system. It's commonly used on all payment apps

Chat executives are useless. Better drop a mail to nodal office or pno

if you had not credited cashback then mail but if you want verify your category it is better to talk with them or it is dependent on you

Till last month on Aug 23, I did an Electricity bill payment I got 10%, as on payment page I got APBLUTIL. Don't know this month, will be doing it next week. will update.

Nope. I tried just to book a gas cylinder it's showing AIRTEL instead of APBUTIL.
I also tried to uninstall this latest version of airtel thanks and installed APK of July version, I am getting APBLUTIL now, but the booking is not processed. Payment got deducted, but booking failed on previous APK.

Nope. I tried just to book a gas cylinder it's showing AIRTEL instead of APBUTIL.
I also tried to uninstall this latest version of airtel thanks and installed APK of July version, I am getting APBLUTIL now, but the booking is not processed. Payment got deducted, but booking failed on previous APK.

I'm also getting AIRTEL for electricity and water. But you are getting APBLUTIL for electricity? I thought maybe due to saving account, wallet loading does not happen

Actually my Electricity bill has not been generated yet, will update after 4-5 days.. but for gas its showing AIRTEL. Can you confirm for gas ?

Just checked on the browser, and they aren't allowing airtel savings account customers to pay through CC, only load money in the Account and then pay. So only Airtel Thanks is the option.

Is there any permanent solution or trick, every month getting wrong cashback, then reaching out to axis support pno mail (minimum 3 tries to let them fully understand).

Hi @pprakash11 am using airtel axis card only to pay airtel postpaid and my electricity bill for me rest of the utility bill doesn't work in app
and am getting more cashback then eligible.I tried argue with a manager of a team recently,i couldn't convince him
In entire axis back CC no body know how this credit card works
