Best two Deals to get Accor plus
I know, that was what I was pointing out, that unless people have travel plans like Europe, buying points didn't make much sense.
Though I have found Ibis hotels at major cities (Paris, Lyon, Rome, etc) to be around 40-60 EUR, so considering 3k points per night, we can stay for 20 days. 6k points per night would also mean 10 days stay.
I am travelling to Scandanavian countries in August and could find only 1 hotel in Stockholm out of 3 countries! So accor points was not helpful for me (I had transferred way before this plan).
i stayed at IBIS switzerland city centre lucern for 8k per day. That should be 5000 points
Be careful to choose good locations while you actually book. I realised cheaper ones are usually very far from City centres.
Ah right, I didn't check the distance from city centre 😃 I had travelled to UK last year and had booked airbnbs in most of the places for approx 6k per night. I checked accor rates for places near my Airbnb stays, they were around 12k. So could have used 6k points for these stays. No savings other than using points instead of cash.
Got a call from Accor regarding the Accor Plus subscription from Vistara portal for 4000 bonus CV points.
If we go through this offer, there is no discount on Accor Plus subscription, We have to pay full 15930/-

After reading many threads on Accor Plus topic, I decided to go with the Accor Explorer membership. Any current offer for same? Or any referral ? I m considering Vistara 4000 points offer by paying full amount to accor via card. Please suggest if there is any better option.
Currently, accor plus Traveller is offered at 35% discount at 7670Rs & Accor Explorer at 14337 including tax. I m not sure if they provide GST invoice for ITC Claim. GST is mentioned on final payment page and i can put GST number in Tax Number section. SO final price i can get is 12150 Rs. (without vistara)

They do provide GST invoice on request if you pay via cash and not Accor points. You'll have to wait for 30days for invoice though.
Yes, added Accor to watchlist. Its at 30 EUR now, i will buy once it comes down to 20 EUR.
How do you buy it from India? I would consider buying this too.
