BOB Eterna rewards

BOB Eterna gives 3.75% for online shopping. Rewards used to post as soon as the transaction is posted. Last few weeks I see that my transactions at Amazon has not earned any rewards. Is this an issue only for me or others also not receiving rewards for last week?

My Eterna was not getting rewards last few weeks. I received statement and see all those missing points. Looks like issue with displaying the rewards on app. Not sure if it is deliberate to prevent redemption.

So now it is showing correctly in mobile app or website? Otherwise, no point of what it shows in statement?

Monthly statement has correct balance and points are added. However, app and net banking shows 0 reward balance.

Finally found the reason. Rewards linked to primary card and if it is replaced, the rewards link to new primary card will take 60 days.

Milestone benefit process:

1 year from eterna issued date.

Ex:

If Eterna originally issued on 01-05-22, then before 01-05-23 if spends are >5L, it will visible in netbanking within 3 to 4 working days.

Annual fee (in case not LTF) process:

1 year from eterna issued or original card (in case of upgrades) issued date, whichever is earlier.

Ex:

If one got approved Premier at 20-01-22 and upgrade to Eterna on 01-05-22 then annual fee charged on upgraded eterna on 20-01-23.

Do we get 2.5% for Swiggy too in snapdeal card?

Those who still using eterna like me for online, few observations:

1.5 RP / 100

- Bigbasket, Swiggy (& instamart), Zomato, RTC, Paytm Travel.
- Wallet loading (only payzapp is sure way), Paytm (only those with wallet name in OTP, else others classified as travel and utilities which provides 1.5 RP).
- amazon regular gateway no issues but new payu gateway sometimes reporting as either travel or utilities (1.5 RP).

Card completely devalued for me (once a best online card for me with 10%+3.75% discounts), fear of loosing value will stop using completely other than wallet loading (sure way).

Do check above and if okay to rotate money (by loading and unloading wallets), take it else prefer sd card from bob for now.

Blocks are mostly for new cards only. Nothing for old cards. New cards are blocked after 100rs transaction only 😅.

I have 3 cards - 7 month old eterna, which didn't face any issues. 2.5 months old hpcl, which got blocked after 100rs transaction, but started working again this month. And 1 month old snapdeal card, which again got blocked after 100rs transaction, and will be mostly unblocked by June.

Finally snapdeal card also started working for payzapp wallet load. As expected, just before June.

Yes we don’t get accelerated for Swiggy. Devaluation hit these kind of transactions too. Safest bet is PayZapp load. But be prepared for a card block for that MCC

Swiggy is under departmental or grocery category and eligible for only 0.375% cb.

Even on yatra makemytrip easymytrip we get 1.5
Only on big restaurant dining not categorized As standalone restaurant or fats food chain we get 3.75%

Snapdeal card again stopped working for payzapp load. Worked on first of this month, from next time better to finish the quota in first transaction itself.
