BOB Eterna rewards

BOB Eterna gives 3.75% for online shopping. Rewards used to post as soon as the transaction is posted. Last few weeks I see that my transactions at Amazon has not earned any rewards. Is this an issue only for me or others also not receiving rewards for last week?

In my part of the world, they call BoB as Bank of Buruda (bank of lies). This technique of MCC block and very bad MCC classification for some online transaction makes this card a joke. Avoid BOB except for enjoying lounge access (until they trick us there)

Milestone benefit process:
1 year from eterna issued date.
Ex:
If Eterna originally issued on 01-05-22, then after 01-05-23 if spends are >5L, it will visible in netbanking within 3 to 4 working days.

Annual fee (in case not LTF) process:
1 year from eterna issued or original card (in case of upgrades) issued date, whichever is earlier.

Ex:
If one got approved Premier at 20-01-22 and upgrade to Eterna on 01-05-22 then annual fee charged on upgraded eterna on 20-01-23.

Will we get 3.75% cashback if we buy Amazon gift vouchers from amazon.in using Bob Eterna card ?
What should be the safe maximum amount per transaction? 5000 or 10000 or ?

Anyone recently tried loading to payzapp using snapdeal card? Everytime it gets debited from card, but then fails on payzapp credit and takes 5 days for refund.

Payzapp is of HDFC bank and it is perfectly alright.
I would avoid using the Snapdeal card for anything.

BoB has business rules to block wallet transactions for certain conditions. If possible avoid wallet loads. At least don’t use primary card for wallet load.

Get add-on cards and try again.
I am still able to do good amount with my eterna. When primary transaction fail , I try with addons and it goes through.

BOB is blocking wallet transaction specially payzapp wallet load.

First transaction will work but when you doing 2nd transaction, your transaction will get failed.

BOB Snapdeal and BOB Eterna Visa card, both users are facing this problem.

No, this is a different issue. BOB is not blocking anything. It's payzapp that is blocking, as amount is getting deducted from card every time (and refunding after 3-4 days), but not crediting to wallet.

After my transaction failed, i did below transactions in same sequence.

10k via idfc - failed
10k via snapdeal - failed
1 rs via idfc - worked
1 rs via snapdeal - Worked
10k via snapdeal - failed
5k via snapdeal - failed
2k via snapdeal - failed
500 via snapdeal - failed
500 via idfc - failed
100 via idfc - worked
100 via snapdeal - worked
200 via snapdeal - failed
100 via idfc - worked
100 via snapdeal - failed
100 via idfc - failed

So, this indicates that I had around 300-400 loading limit remaining and now it is between 0-100. Even now both snapdeal and idfc card is allowing Transaction and getting debited, but payzapp is not loading.

if your payzapp wallet limit is over, payzapp is not allowing you to load money. you can't go to the card otp page.

Ohk, then will continue asking payzapp support, they are checking it since almost 1 month😭.

If this is not fixed, eterna will be completely useless, as it doesn't give 3.75% pretty much anywhere else.

Snapdeal gives 2.5% everywhere, but not accepted (or has higher charges).

And idfc wealth has already excluded utility mcc from this month, will be pretty hard to combine multiple month expenses in single month to get 2.5% cb.

All 3 will get useless😅.

you have to remember 2 days

annual fee = when original card approved to you (cibil contains this date).
= May

milestone = when upgraded card completed year (you only know and remember).
= Oct

no, it still paid I did not try for LTF, I have time till May 2024 so will check next year if I am unable to spend more than 2.5 lacs before
