BOB Premier - VKYC done but Customer Care says that it is not done

I applied for LTF BOB Premier card online and completed the VKYC but customer care is saying VKYC is pending and there is no update after that.
I have tried mailing them multiple times, everytime they say that VKYC is not done and don't reply anything else.
What to do?

What was the reason for rejection ? After fetching the cibil and verifying documents which I am sure must be proper, what could be the possible cause of rejection ?

My vkyc was also done last week but system says pending , just like everyone else’s. Cibil received 1 hard enquiry for 50k. Let’s see what happens.

Yes was completed on 5th July.

Ok, but It’s not done in my case .. In the initial response from crm , they have mentioned that field verification report pending , but later they had mentioned that nothing pending except final decision

Field verification basically means your BGV (background verification) which bank does either by themselves or through any third party vendors and they may visit your residence/work address if they feel so. So this is not in our (customer) hand actually. Once this report is submitted to the central team, the application would be taken forward for further/final processing considering all other required factors.

Yes, Field verification reports are not in our hand.. But, I'm not quite sure how bank mentioned that my application was pending for field report in the initial response and later mentioned "final decision pending" without field report (as nobody visited my office/residence)

As I told you visiting you in person is bank's choice if they feel so, otherwise they have their own networks to do so.

I applied C2C with 8 lakhs limit, VKYC done, IPV done and then they say rejected

Just got a message that card is approved .. 🙂

BOB is generally lenient

But then why are they rejecting so many applications when applicants have been careful enough to provide all details accurately. And then after mail follow ups , they approve it.

22 June .. Applied Eterna .. Hopefully they will send Eterna (rather premier) , as I head some of applicants received lower version cards even though they applied for higher version

Same case with me also, applied on 9th and vkyc done on 11th July. I have sent email to crm@bobfinancial.com asking for status

It will show if you are applicable I guess, because the Eterna Variant was listed when I was applying online..!

I asked them if I can request for eterna now, but they said you will have to email for canceling your existing application first...and then 3-4 days after cancellation, you can reapply for eterna. But this is too much of a risk, if they deny eterna later. So I guess the sensible option is to come on-board and then keep trying for upgrade.

Called and spoke to cc too, and he also said that it is showing pending vkyc, but he also acknowledged that is their common system problem and that I should continue waiting.
