Facing issues while upgrading my HDFC savings account to the Preferred Banking Program.

Ultimate goal is to get good limit cc based on money kept in bank..

The question here is, whether such goals are actually based on reality, ... or just hope!

Speaking from my own experience as an Imperia customer, that hasn't so far helped me even an iota in getting an upgrade from my Moneyback CC! 🙂

Today I called her to ask a question on account deposits. I had transferred my account to that branch because she pleaded. I was facing an issue because of this and asked her a question.

She goes "Sir, aap kaun?"

She hadn't even saved my phone number.

I was literally behind RM & BM for my upgradation from Classic to Preferred. Then pinged the PNO, they also stretched for another week. Finally gave them 48 hours or else take account closure request. For my surprise the BM himself called and upgraded my account. On a side note, Banking experience is still same with preferred also!

What was your MAB? And did your RM change after upgrading to Preferred from Classic, as HDFC Bank says there's a dedicated RM for Preferred Customers

MAB was around 6. As you pointed out i got upgraded from Basic (not Classic) to Preferred and got a dedicated RM.
 
I m a classic customer long time n not received upgrade to preferred. If I m eligible for preferred will I get auto upgrade or do I need to check with rm

You can check your eligibility here and no need to wait for the email then. I had upgraded by asking EVA.

I m currently in classic n if I click apply online it asks me to login but can't see upgrade option
