Hello,
I need suggestions from experts here. I have had HDFC Diner's privilege CC as LTF for the last 2 years, recently my RM offered me Infinia but it will be chargeable. I know it already seems a lucrative option, but I have Amex Plat travel also which is my primary card till now. I used diners for bill payments in Payzapp and BMS offers only. So, I'm confused. should I go ahead with a hefty 12.5k fee for Infinia or not at this stage?

Yearly spends? Honestly I don't know benefits of amex plat but smartbuy hotel booking and flight booking is very lucrative.

Also, for now u get back fee as RPs. Only pay gst portion.

However : u can get upto 10% RPs on society maintenance charges (mygate conv charges added - through mygate using Amazon pay. (Max 20k limit clubbed with below)
Upto 14% RPs on utility bill payments (max 20k / month)
16.5% as RPs on Amazon shopping (max 25k / month)
16.5% as swiggy vouchers

And much much more. No RPs on fuel and rent though.

And it's accepted everywhere. That's good honestly. Amex and diners isn't accepted everywhere.

And access to almost all lounges (which aren't exclusive for business class)

Yearly spent around 7-9L in which food spent around 3L.
In Infinia RPs for joining and renewal are good, I got that. But I wanted to know what is the benefit in terms of normal spends? I don't have any society maintenance charges.. Also, utility bills are limited to max 5k per month... for food-related spending I have HSBC Cashback which is giving flat 10% cashback on all online food, grocery, and dining.
I am not considering lounge benefits as I have other cards to cover that part as well.
So my main spending will be on shopping vouchers through smart buy (but they charge some fees for Amazon Pay GC) and some regular spends on multiple online sites.

3.3% on POS machines.

16.5% on swiggy and Zomato if u buy GVs.

All brand shopping vouchers also 16.5% majorly. Amazon charges 2.5% on top so 14%

Can you pls elaborate on how GVs from smart buy (giftr) portal give 16.5% returns?
As I can see on INR1000 GV it's giving 150points, which is around ~15% return.

I think infinia gives reward points for multiple of 150. For Rs. 1000 some part of it is not considered.

firstly all infinia can be had FYF..Push for that.. Secondly anyway you get RPs for the fees.. so its value is. returned.. getting infinia is a no brainer if u have decent spends for the year..
