HDFC Infinia upgrade

Hi Friends,

I currently have Regalia Gold credit card and I want to get upgraded to Infinia Credit card.

1. I have credit limit of 12.3 lakhs in my Regalia Gold credit card.
2. I have spent more than 8 lakhs in last 6 months
3. I have greater than 3 lakhs Net salary credited in HDFC salary account.

Will I be eligible for Infinia Credit card upgrade? Talked to RM regarding this but he said I am not eligible.

Then I think they should also consider me. I have spent more than 5 lakhs in December for which bill has to generated in January. But if they consider only spend of last 6 month from the date of request then I should be eligible if the eligibility is > 8 lakhs. Not if the eligibilty is > 9 lakhs.

I got Infinia metal upgrade last week from my regalia first. I have 3.5L net salary credit in non HDFC bank account. My annual ITR is 90L (includes yearly bonus). They did ask for my ITR calculation to ensure that all income is through employment.

For me they asked to send any one item, Salary slips for salaried and ITR for self employed. Don't know what is their criteria. Happy that you got the card. 👏

Guys, I got message that my case is closed. No email or nothing. Seems bad luck. Feeling irritated now please suggest what to do next? Wait for billing to come and re-apply via PNO?

LTF DCB I think is better than Infinia. How did you manage to get it?

Alumni program. Only down side is 7.5K limit on flight booking. Rest is all good. Works fine internationally as well. I have dropped note to PNO lets see. Not going any further for this now. Not going to push or escalate to any further

They have created new case basis your revert to consider. This is their standard process. You will most likely get a mail giving new date. Wait a little. You will be offered Diners Metal atleast. Since you meet spend and limit most likely you may get Infinia itself.

I suggest check with your RM, they should be able to get the approval.

Diners LTF is better if they provide but they won't I know.

Got the mail with new date. But for the last case I am suprised they just closed the case without any email for explanation. They are not considering the spend and limit but rather asking for salary slips.
Let's see what they do with this new case created. If still getting rejected I will mail pno after billing comes this month.

I checked this with RM and she said they can't directly interfere in Infinia process but she was saying I should be eligible.
She was asking to just fill the upgrade form and submit to any branch so that it can go to Chennai office and wait for the form to be processed normally.
