Let them increase. Hardly any valuable benefits. But yeah, they made it easier for HNIs to get the card.

They actually covered the whole valuable people too as whoever will be having 1cr in there fds , insurance & savings account will get infinia easily by RM

I just opened the salary account 1-2 months back. It's showing Preferred. As per my salary levels, I won't be upgraded to Imperia anytime soon, unless I push and see if the company has some special tie up. (Yeah, Imperia doesn't have any role in getting Infinia/DCBM).

But still trying to see if I can get anything better than RG. What threads I need to pull?

HDFC CC Seniors might have received internal Feedback that customers are not taking FDs/MFs/ULIPs anymore 😛 Infinia dream is an easy way to sway customers.

1cr in savings + FD is a lot of money. Probably good for someone who has net worth of 5cr+ who wants to keep 20% of nw in FD.

But a very nice initiative by hdfc. Made no sense that people with 1cr in FD didn’t get infinia. They are giving the bank business of atleast 1Lpa

Infinia Metal is going to be offered based on Banking Relationship Value as well starting 1st February.

Its now easier to get than the insane 5L salary criteria that was implemented in October 2024. 🤦‍♂️

Refer to image for more details. I am not sure why requirements are different for Infinity/Imperia. As per my understanding If you've savings/deposits of 1CR - you should be able to get Infinia Metal, can also opt for family banking and reach the RLV. Reach out to your RM for the Infinia Metal card if you're eligible or want to enroll into Imperia Family Banking.

I will still not go for infinia metal as i recently got DCB Metal & spouse has infinia metal with good limit. For our usage, it's enough along with our other cards.

But it's good that HDFC making it easier for high end customers to get infinia metal.

To be fair only Hdfc, Icici & Sbi are worthy for most HNI/UHNI for keeping large amount, as they are probably the safest banks in India.

I will try Vice Versa. Aiming for DCB metal for my spouse. I have Infinia.

Regalia Gold is first step towards super premium and can be easily get if you have 3 lakhs credit limit on any of hdfc card, just request them to upgrade

I remember I was being offered regalia gold FYF 2-3 months back and I didn't take it coz fee+rp's (as in milll 1rp=1rs afaik, not the case with gold)...

How can I check without cibil hit?

Yeah if spends criteria & limit are meet, but i rarely heard of someone trying from millennia to infinia.

As its mostly a rejection, so better to go with ladder steps.
