You can open the HDFC saving max account with just 25K initial funding.The Average Monthly Balance (AMB) in the SavingsMax Account should be Rs. 25,000 or maintain requisite FD Relationship as per branch location.FD Relationship of Rs 1.50 lakh in Metro/ Urban location snd Rs 1 lakh in Semi Urban / Rural location

I think before Monday I can't do anything. Till now not activated. Tomorrow is Sunday. It should be auto approved after vkyc. Don't know which technology these guys are using.

Yes always open account in working hours preferably in Morning for quick activation because Video kycs are evaluated by human hand and taken images (Pan and signature)are Mannually updated in system for further processing by Software.

I opened hdfc account online recently and it took a week for everything to register in their system. Their system is super slow, during the first week, sms banking didn't recognize my mobile number as registered with the customer id.
I also opened ICICI account online and it was surprisingly very smooth, everything got activated on the same day including the virtual card and fully registered after midnight

Account activated by central team and thereafter assigned to branch you selected for updation of each and everything..

My experience also same with icici. Activated instantly. Hdfc is miles behind icici in technology.

Can we change mobile number online in hdfc? As I had to provide my aadhar linked no. for activation but I want to use my primary number with hdfc. Do I need to visit atm? And how long does it take? Anyone having experience please share.

Yes through ATM you can change the Mobile number.Maximum Time frame for processing is 2 working days but it will be processed within a day.
