I have Regalia + TN Infinity (both LTF with shared limit of 6.73L)
Last 6 months, I've spent 7L+ on my TNI card...is there any chance for upgrade to any better card...DCB, Infinia ??

Try for DCB

For INFINIA u need 8 lakh limit..
If u don't get l.e u have to
Pledge fd and make your limit 8 l + to get infinia

Tni has nothing do with core care upgrade.

If u have spend mostly on tni ..u can only push for regalia
Bcz for INFINIA u have to spend on core Card which u want to convert


Yes DCB is sourced LTf but it's a luck rather than a regulation..
Talk to them .& Find out

U can spend & push for infinia

DCB ( Metal ), haven't seen any LTF as of now. FYF you can try, based on your spends.
You can also try for Mariott Bonvoy CC; one person on this forum has managed to get it LTF

DCB LTF used to be based on two conditions -
1. alumni (IIT/IIM/BITS/MDI etc) + salary criteria
2. Corporate tie up + salary criteria

Alumni program is ended. Corporate tie up is still present. Salary criteria is 21LPA+.

Other than that, I'll wait for TF veterans to answer.

DCB LTF to paid Infinia seems like a not-smart decision, if I'm being polite.

Any recent cases of DCB LTF (Plastic( to Infinia Metal paid?

On a similar note, I got LE on ICICI Sapphiro to 15L. How do I ask HDFC to give me a similar 8L --> 15L LE?

Also, what would be the best suited channel to approach for upgrade request....through RM or email request ???

RM/BM if he is actually competent and helpful; cause an internal circular has already been provided to Branches which highlights one of the Criteria's to upgrade the CC ( spend based criteria)
If they are clueless, you will have to apply through Email/ their Flagship Office - Chennai office

I have the plastic DCB LTF, but I'd like metal LTF if I'm eligible.

Just go for the best -- go to the branch and apply offline for Infinia with IT return of 45 lacs+

I have the plastic DCB LTF, but I'd like metal LTF if I'm eligible.

If you were eligible for plastic, you should be eligible for metal too ( assuming you got the plastic variant based on Alumni/ Corporate/ ITR ); have seen people getting upgrade from Plastic to FYF Metal in Offers , but have not came across LTF Metal

Thank you. Yes, I'm eligible for Alumni+ITR based DCB offers. Corporate might work, but my past employers didn't have those tie ups.

I'll wait for news of DCB metal LTF obtained without trouble.

Afaik, the accelerated rewards are same for plastic and metal. For DCB Metal there are two main differences 1. 10K bonus points on 4L spends. 2. Higher capping on smartbuy (2500 Daily and 7500 Monthly for plastic vs 10K (Daily and Monthly for Metal).
