Use the redeem option from idfc first rewards page and redeem it for amazon pay, it gives upfront 1% discount as well. I think its a good redemption

I have axis flipkart ltf and Amazon Pay ICICI among others, I use them on flipkart and amazon only. the reason for getting the Mayura is the zero forex and its looks. so having such a good-looking card and not showing off is not good isn't it🙂?

Mayura is too costly (around 7000 rs)... for zero forex, you can go with IDFC First Wow or Scapia. Both are LTF.

IDFC First Wealth LTF is much much better than Mayura.

Instead of Amazon ICICI, go with HDFC Swiggy LTF. 5% actual cashback on statements.

While swiping for the first time, ask them to add the number of guests you want. Or open Dreamfolks Web and create a QR code by adding the number of guests.

Recently I claimed my Wow card points got 99+GST charged but within 2 days I got the amount refunded with GST.

And net cost for first year is GST only ( i.e. around 700-800 only).

LTF doesn't mean everything. It depends on your usage and requirements.😤😤

Mostly people in this thread took it just for the metal card and with welcome benefit & 2-3 bms offer they its zero cost. Worth it or not is very subjective I feel for this card. So its up to you.

So, wealth devaluation expected?

This card lacks value due to several limitations and nothing left to further devaluation, its shelf-card actually.

Loung/Spa: Required 20k/pm spends
Golf: Required another 20k/pm spends

Now, if you're ok to spend that 40k/pm then

Reward rate: On 40k/pm spends you'll get only 1.08% (BOB Snapdeal offers higher with just ₹300 annual fee)

Not only that

Utility, Insurance: Only 0.16% (vs DC 0.25%)

On top of this low reward rate, there is redemption fee of 118rs.

Forex markup: -0.7% on 40k/pm spends...

Need quick help: how much rewards points we will get if i spend in jewellery shop ? Is it in exclusion list ? Planning to use in Singapore today .

5x upto 20k, 10x above 20k for Mayura card with 0% forex.

Its 0.83% upto 20k and 1.67% above 20k.

Example:

For 50k Jewellry purchase,

You'll get ₹667 as rewards. i., 1.3%

Btw, Mayura card charges GST 1080 (if you believe joining fee compensated with their cashback), which needs 80k at 1.3%, just to recover fee paid to get the card.

After that above calculations works.
