no need to apply for anything with in 10days u will receive cheq book & super debit card..
for cc payments unipay,setu,airtel.
please read official bank page for excluded mcc's.

i haven't read this thread so any FAQ you wanna add, let me know since whoever is the OP would cross-verify along with varun goel sir seem to good understanding in this thread so this is wiki post, either OP or varun can update the Main Post.

811 super is a subscription plan for Kotak 811 account users. It costs 300 Rs per year and provides premium account benefits.

What are the benefits of 811 Super?

The benefits of 811 super includes:​

• Zero balance saving just like normal 811
• 5% Cashback upto 500 per month on debit card purchases.
• Free VISA Platinum debit card
• 1 Free cheque book every year
• Dedicated customer support

How can I upgrade to 811 super?

For current 811 account holder this super is invite only. You can only upgrade it if you have upgrade offer in new kotak 811 app.
For new user you can directly upgrade while opening 811 account.

I have the 811 super offer in the app. What is the process to upgrade?
Great, If you have the offer follow bellow steps to upgrade.

1. Make sure you current is up to date - this is where you will get your debit card.
2. Ensure there is at least 300 Rs. balance in your account
3. Open the app click upgrade - follow the further prompted steps
4. You will get confirmation sms for the same
5. Deposit 5000 in a single transfer either thorugh upi or kotak 811 app Add fund feature.

You noe have a 811 super account. You will get a physical debit card and chequebook on your current address within 2 to 7 days depending on your location.

How can I get 5% cashback?
You can get 5% upto 500 cashback by using you debit card for online or offline purchases. Both your old virtual card and new physical card are eligible for cashback. However there comined cashback limit is 500.

What are Conditions for getting cashback?
To be eligible for the cashback you must credit at least 5000 INR every month in your account. This 5000 has to be credited in a single transaction.

You didn't even read the thread you mentioned, which makes me curious:

what's the point of posting that thread in this thread?

Use Google to learn about the MCC and what exclusions mean. Canara Setu is still working, but for different DCs.

Hey, I was cribbing about not getting 811 Super upgrade despite being long time customer of regular 811 account. I want to share what worked for me. As per customer care, they were telling me that Super 811 upgrade option is a promotional offer provided to those customers who are keeping zero balance and using the account rarely. It will not be given to active customers. Since that I removed all money from my account and made it zero 😀

It worked like a charm, they were not lying about it. As soon as I became a less valuable customer, within 30 days I got the option to upgrade to Super 811. If anyone still not getting upgrade option, please try this. Make your balance zero and wait 30 days. It will happen

May be correct may be not, I got it with 30k+ balance. Until kotak issue some official criteria everything is speculations...
