Use Google to learn about the MCC and what exclusions mean. Canara Setu is still working, but for different DCs.

I did not receive any cashback on hdfc platinum dc for payments made via canara setu, that's why warned other users here in case it does not work for kotak super dc as well.

Well..

Hdfc platinum doesn't offer cashback for 5311 mcc & Kotak dc does not have 5311 mcc in their exclusion list.

Hey, I was cribbing about not getting 811 Super upgrade despite being long time customer of regular 811 account. I want to share what worked for me. As per customer care, they were telling me that Super 811 upgrade option is a promotional offer provided to those customers who are keeping zero balance and using the account rarely. It will not be given to active customers. Since that I removed all money from my account and made it zero 😀

It worked like a charm, they were not lying about it. As soon as I became a less valuable customer, within 30 days I got the option to upgrade to Super 811. If anyone still not getting upgrade option, please try this. Make your balance zero and wait 30 days. It will happen

You are just lucky coz I had the opposite experience…my friend who was actively using his 811 account with sufficient balance got Super upgrade in Nov itself.

And then I was the one with 0 balance in my account didn’t get upgrade. I thought it’s because I didn’t maintain any balance nor used the much so didn’t get upgrade option, so started using the account since then…but still no Super upgrade.

Well, I’d like to inform that I just got upgraded to 811 Super by fighting for it !!

I wrote mail to Level-1 Grievance officer & then to Nodal Officer, but got same template reply.
Then I called to their Nodal Officer no. who connected to 811 team & they instantly agreed to convert my account to Super on call itself by sending me a link.

For all those who are wondering how to get Nodal Officer no., it’s available on their website i.e. 022-62042110

Atleast if 811 app is exclusively made for 811 A/c then, atleast it should have given an option to access 811 A/c there but ... 🤡

I was in the same boat. Check my comment above. After removing all money from account and waiting, they allowed upgrade for my account in 30 days

I paid credit card bill of 10154 on unipay on 11th December. On 2nd Jan I deposited 5000 as well but I haven't received 5% cashback yet.
How long does it take?

Ps - I opened account on 27 November and received the debit card on 2nd December and I made 1st bill payment as I mentioned above.
I am not maintaining account balance but in the beginning of the month I deposit 5000 and usually around 12th of the month I deposite remaining amount to pay the bill and my account is left with 100 to 200 balance and cycle repeats again next month.
Am I doing anything wrong?

Wait till 31th jan, 2025 for your december month 5% upto Rs500 cashback

I upgraded to 811 Super today from the regular 811 account.
I understand that we have to credit 5000 to the account every month in order to activiate that 5% reward.

Do correct me if i am wrong.
1. Only transactions via the card will count (online/offline)
2. UPI won't bring in anything.

1. According to the bank, yes, but I would personally stick to online usage.

2. Correct, that won't fetch anything.

Regarding Point no. 2.
1st upi may fetch something (upto 50) as per their email. Don't know if this is account specific or for all.

That's for the Kotak 811 app only. They say you will receive 50, but you only get 1-2 rupees. It's a one-time offer.

By his posts, it seems he meant upi for 5% cashback.
