I don't know why people keep complaining about lounge food. I have been to dozens of lounges around the world and I have always found the food to be fairly good. The only exception was Marrakesh in Morroco recently where the lounge was beautiful but had no food. In India, I am always satisfied with the food. All else failing, you have tea, coffee, juices, cakes, fruits and salads. That alone is enough.Whenever I go to lounges now, I just dream about the food my mom used to take with us for railyatras during my childhood. Even the train thali was decent...especially cutlet bread for breakfast used to be my fav...
beyond fed up of lounge food now for past 2 years....even though I am in Bangalore and the BLR lounges are one of the best around the globe in terms of quality of food
I have never found lounges too overcrowded either except just once at London Heathrow a couple of weeks ago. I always go 4 to 5 hours early for my flights in order to enjoy the lounge. If I have an early morning flight like 7am, I even get there around midnight in order to be able to visit the lounge. Most of my flights are early morning or late night as I always buy the cheapest one available.
