Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

From last 45 mins, HDFC/SBI/Axis billers are down. Only PNB and ICICI fetching dues for me. Seems like after IT Return date over, bank system got busy with IT department and BBPS ki lag gayi aaj. Last year also Aug 1 was a black day in terms of financial payments. I hope it return to normal. Have HDFC due date tomorrow. Paid 25K left. :ROFLMAO: Nahi toh direct tfr karna padega.
 
Billers are back online. All of them. So it was a BBPS problem. They all went down at same time and came back at same time barring ICICI/PNB.

Try after sometime like 15-30 mins as you may or may not face payment failing issue.

Edit: No problem at all sites/apps now but still suggest you to wait in order to avoid failures.

Still unable to pay any credit card bill which r on BBPS through UNIPAY. From morning it's failing (Kotak, SBI, HDFC)
For Axis (which is still asking for full card number) it's is going through
 
I just made a trial payment of ₹100 on Unipay for the SC CC bill and got the merchant name SBIUNIPAYDBCard in the HDFC statement.

I will update whether I received cashback on it or not.

Try hdfc billpay. Just paid axis but

Then you must've used HDFC billpay and paid using HDFC platinum debit card right? If yes, you will get the rewards in that case as well.
