PNB Credit cards experience | Application process and time

How are you guys sending the ITR?
Whenever I send it on email, I receive below reply

The mail you sent to creditcardpnb2@pnb.co.in with subject: Re: WC2223338589, has not been delivered as it violates PNB's Policy. In case of any issue, please contact the mail team.
I am also getting the same reply when I sent ITR over email, mine is ITR 2 total 45 pages, size 445KB without any password. are you able to send ITR successfully? if yes please let me know the idea. Thanks,

I was not able to send ITR, I've sent CPC Intimation now(2-3 days ago). Still not received any response from them.

send ITR form (not receipt)
Already sent that as well, but It gets blocked by PNB security team.

Received below reply for sending CPC intimation. So I think CPC intimation will also work.

Dear Sir,

We have received your all documents.
Application is under process.

Thanks & Regards

LOL you are stuck in the vicious cycle of their VKYC portal where it keeps on throwing the error about their executives being busy. I faced the same error despite scheduling the VKYC in advance, I kept on hitting the Call Now button multiple times, initially the executives didn't bother to pick the call. However, seeing my persistent efforts, one finally relented and completed my KYC.

This trick only works in their office hours which start at 11 AM and closes at 5PM on weekdays.
THANKS A LOT for this tip, I was stuck with this vicious VKYC cycle for 1.5 months. I tried your suggestion one day when I had some time, and viola !! it worked !!

Trick for sharing ITR to PNB :

As most people encountered , the ITR form always gets bounced quoting the reason that Policy is violated . This is because, ITR pdf (download from IncomeTax portal) is based on text format and when PNB reading this pdf (by some automated tools) - it is sensing some confidential information in it, and their email policy restricting this email to deliver to PNBcreditcard team.

Solution :

Print ITR and scan it in pdf and then send it to PNB. As it is scanned ITR pdf, the data in it won't be text format. Make sure to have lesser DPI to make the scanned pdf less in size .

I tried this method (the pdf came around 4MB after scanning) and successfully sent this to PNB without any policy violation .

Another way could be to export the entire PDF as images and then recreate a PDF with those images. This way the email reader at PNB would not be able to read it.

Yes, this would be other method which I also did it for my colleague .. However, this would be good , if one has good exposure to converting image with less DPI values, so that final pdf would be less in size. Otherwise, the pdf would end-up with 20-25MB ( considering 45 pages of ITR). The tool which I used in this method is pdf X-change editor

Finally , my PNB card application approved . Felt like an achievement 🙂

Just want to share my journey of it - as this applied via branch and not by online channel

- Applied on 17th of August via branch with filled-in application, PAN,aadhar,Form16,3 months payslip.
- Got an message on 23-Aug that application lying discrepant due to missing signature from the bank and also 6 months salary account statement
- Bank submitted the form with required signatures , and also my 6month payslip on 5-Sep..
- No updates received afterwards and Bank manager received email from them that application is in progress
-I sent email to them asking for update on 15-Sep and got reply from on 20th that application lying discrepant due to missing ITR (bank manager did not get this message)
- Sent ITR on same day from my end
- Got a call from PNB executive on 21st for verification ( he mentioned that card will be delivered in 10 days)
- Got message today (23-Sep) that card approved and waiting for this to be delivered
- CIBIL query made after card approval/delivery

Edit :

-Card sent by PNB on 26-Sep by DTDC
- Received today (29-Sep)
- I'm already existing PNB account holder

Observation
: The entire process would have been much quicker if they collect all required docs during application submission itself (which they are not aware) . So, if you apply via branch - try to submit all docs mentioned above
