PNB Credit cards experience | Application process and time

Is Rupay Platinum better than Rupay Select or vice a versa. Why are most people choosing PNB rupay Platinum card ?
Because Platinum comes with zero joining and annual fee (need to make one transaction per quarter). Whereas there is a joining fee of 500 applicable on select. Who in their sane mind would want to pay 500+ GST to banks like PNB 😉.

Apart from this one thing I think both cards are vfm. But yes Platinum is without joining fees and also looks much better imo(although looks are subjective).

If you want Free golf, free gym, health checkup, spa services then choose PNB RuPay Select Wellness credit card. Some people even like this type of thing. Otherwise choose PNB RuPay Platinum credit card.

PNB only has PNB RuPay Select Card, no wellness variant. https://pnbcard.in/types.html

I opted for Select Card. Let's see when it gets delivered and the benefits.
PNB RuPay Select Debit/Credit Card both are Wellness variant. Already verified.

See here Ankur mittal's twitter post, he is also in my RuPay card whatsapp group, he already used all RuPay Select card wellness offers -

may i know the experience of applying for PNB credit card from the ones who already had account in PNB, howz the process? Well my scene is like that I used to have a SB account with PNB since my college days even can say my first account but now its become dormant bcz for the last 6-7yr I had never used it also as the branch used to be in my hometown where I go mostly on festive time only and also now all my documents had new address so would it be beneficial to reactivate it.. or should I apply for the PNB card by selecting I don't have an account with PNB

If you already have PNB account then visit PNBCard website and visit on "PRE-QUALIFIED CREDIT CARD" option - https://pnbcard.in/

Just want to share my journey of it - as this applied via branch and not by online channel

- Applied on 17th of August via branch with filled-in application, PAN,aadhar,Form16,3 months payslip.
- Got an message on 23-Aug that application lying discrepant due to missing signature from the bank and also 6 months salary account statement
- Bank submitted the form with required signatures , and also my 6month payslip on 5-Sep..
- No updates received afterwards and Bank manager received email from them that application is in progress
-I sent email to them asking for update on 15-Sep and got reply from on 20th that application lying discrepant due to missing ITR (bank manager did not get this message)
- Sent ITR on same day from my end
- Got a call from PNB executive on 21st for verification ( he mentioned that card will be delivered in 10 days)
- Got message today (23-Sep) that card approved and waiting for this to be delivered
- No CIBIL query made in my case

Edit :

-Card sent by PNB on 26-Sep by DTDC
- Received today (29-Sep)
- I'm already existing PNB account holder

Observation
: The entire process would have been much quicker if they collect all required docs during application submission itself (which they are not aware) . So, if you apply via branch - try to submit all docs mentioned above

Finally, Select card in hand

I can't even get the application completed. Throws an error Everytime. Invalid input!!!
I had the same issue as your and found the cause of it. When we enter the aadhaar details the address is fetched from the aadhaar backend and prefilled in your next page. If there is any comma, dots , special chars, then its causing issue.Click on change of communication address check box and enter the same address details without #, comma, dot. Only use spaces in the entire application form even for other data. Also try to enter the income manually as ITR login will pre-populate data and might have special chars or even increase in the limit of the chars compared to when entered manually.

I am unable to understand that when all PNB executives is not busy for VKYC ??? Unable to find out appointment for VKYC.

Applied 2 days ago for Platinum, provisional Credit limit 2.84 L.
Non PNB customer
