Preferred account

I opened account in hdfc with initial deposit of 5l for prefered hdfc saving acc with acc no. Of own choice . Account has been opened for more than 7 days but it's still show it's basic saving acc . Want to know it's common with everyone or it's my Rm who is not doing his work properly ?

It usually happens in the starting of the financial year, many times my preferred account was shown as a basic account for few days and then again changed to preferred. Usually when the RMs are changing. If your RM is being changed then this might be the case. Otherwise it should reflect.
You can wait for this week, then get back to them to change it
