It's just algorithm then freeze when you do transaction out of your aukaat

As per this, Prime is applicable only for Rural & semi-urban locations. Sourcing of Prime Savings Account discontinued for Metro and Urban locations w.e.f. 1st April, 2018. . Existing Prime Savings Accounts in Metro and Urban are being upgraded to Prime Edge Savings account w.e.f. 1st June, 2019.

Yes, prime is not offered in Metro areas. And offline branches feign ignorance about classic savings account. Digital is hit and miss so only option is 10k balance Prime Edge.
