Is the issue caused due to online account opening? When we pay 5k for the card (irrespective of voucher provided for value), we expect card usage to be smooth.

It's stupid bank...they have blocked all cc payment via this card..when I call cc they say are you using this card for cc bill payment..the cc ppl also know what it's being used for..

Looks like we have made it too popular. If card gets blocked and we cannot unblock for wallet/bill pay, then the value of this card is zero.

However, looks like there is still some loophole as we see people using it. Can we exploit this loophole? For example, if it works with Freecharge, then the MCC for it is not blocked. RBL cannot block for all MCCs as then it effectively means customer is blocked.

Can you please try with Freecharge, Paytm, Mobi?

RBL cannot identify credit card bill pay. They only look at MCC. Usually utility is the MCC for that. If that is blocked, we can try wallet load.

You can redeem it for vouchers, bill payments, recharges, shop portal.

It is the best if it works. It stops working when we change card as rewards system goes out of sync

Don't change the card. Start with VISA Signature itself, but u hv to open 1L HNI A/C.

I went to the branch yesterday, they denied that SBGEN account the option of RUPAY SELECT/ VISA Signature is not applicable.
You have to change scheme code.

May be some other branches will help.
