Thank you Abhisek for the detailed info...I visited branch and procured platinum select debit card on the basis of my salary account..the process was smooth and got the card delivered within one week. I registered it in rupay website and all the benefits are showing there...though it is inconvenient to have a separate email and mobile no for each rupay debit/credit cards. Do you know if it is possible to register all rupay cards under a single profile?
The other concern is I couldn't found these cards' details in official sbi site.. so we don't know the lounge benefits of these card varients. Please share details if you know anything regarding this.

Earlier only SBI RuPay Select DC was showing here and then replace with SBI RuPay Platinum/Rhodium DC.

You can apply for a another virtual/physical debit card through Yono/SBI NetBanking portal (or obviously by visiting the SBI branch). Once you get the new debit card, you may want to close the current one.
