But it cant be applied online until bank account is there with BOI....

Today I upgraded to a SBI platinum savings account (not a salary account) through net banking. My existing SBI debit card (Classic Mastercard) is expiring this month. I have received an sms saying new debit card dispatched (not received it yet though). I would like to get a Rupay platinum debit card for the Amazon pay Bill pay offer as well as domestic lounge access. Please advise as to which card variant I should apply for and what code should I mention to the branch staff. Thanks.

Nahi hai..... telling about my family member! Asked her to go to branch and apply for SRA against CG-Platinum salary account. The branch people were saying the card request is getting rejected. "Humari branch se pehli bar Rupay Select issue ho rha hai...ho sakta hai abhi ye branch authorize nhi hui ho Rupay Select k liye" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Confirmed with @MrWick as well, looks like it is only for CSP for the time being!

So this gold and diamond sbi rupay platinum is even better than select as it gives both amazon prime and 20% discount on amazon

If you have the required salary they'll convert to csp also after little convincing. It's available for public/govt sec corporates
