Super Premium Credit Card

VIP Lounge
I want a super premium credit card for my wife (she is a working professional).
The basic expectation from that card is
  • It has lounge access to Domestic(080 BLR of Bangalore Airport) and International (as for the international lounge person has to have a card with his/her name right?)
  • the equivalent value of points/rewards/vouchers equal to the card fee will be good as I myself have already many cards in my name.
I have the following super premium cards in my name

Axis Magnus - Paid(10000) (credit limit 7 lakhs)
HDFC Diners Black - LTF (credit limit 6.95 lakhs)
SC Ultimate - Paid(5000) (credit limit 5.5 lakhs)

We don't have SBI, Yes Bank, RBL, Amex, BOB,Citi,HSBC,AU cards, so should I look for any super premium from these ?
No, none have a good super premium card except for AMEX plat charge but very high fees. I think Magnus makes more sense as you can transfer points to Vistara as well but if you are looking only for gold status with Vistara then it makes sense ( not sure after transfer to Air India)

I usually travel from Vistara the majority of the time(if the route is available) but it's not like I am looking for gold status.
is gold status valid for all the passenger-done tickets with the account or only the cardholder?

yes plat charge is too costly 😛

Only card holder also magnus gives you more CV points than Vistara ex: Magnus 12ER per 200 12/5*4= 9.6CV points, Vistara 6CV per 200 and 10 CV points per 200 is only for tickets for card holder booked on Vistara site

I recently used at 080 lounge, i swiped my Magnus PP. No question asked. Before i had Magnus , they were rejecting all cards blindly. So for peace of mind i just got magnus. Lounge is great, very less people has access to it. Domestic 080 is bit crowded now.
guest are allowed using magnus pp in domestic ?

2.75L pm is not getting credited as of now, it's just 20-30K short to that
I'd suggest getting a DCB. It has unlimited lounge access, both domestic and international. And the priority pass isn't rejected at 080 BLR either.
DCB has a take home salary requirement of 1.75L per month. If your wife can wait for her next appraisal, she can apply for Infinia directly, assuming her next increment is ₹20-30k

IDFC wealth can be a good option. It’s a no nonsense card I feel.
Also, how’s your DCB LTF?

Why DCB over magnus ?
