Worst experience with Indusind Bank select Account opening

I opened a Delite AC for my mother online but not completed VKYC after few days I visited branch and opened Indussind select AC and gave 2L IP cheque and req for the closure of Delite SB AC
But the amount was debited and not credited in Indusind Select AC

They said that due to that delite AC is active the money is not cleared and they raised the req for clearing from their end waiting for the Approval from RH

it's been 7 days but the RH is not responding to mail sent by BM it seems

I'm so frustrated What is the link between that select and delite accs as I've given cheque for indus select ac and welcome kit was also delivered

The same day I opened acs for my cousin and my dad
for my dad - paid the IP amount through DC
for my cousin - gave cheque - it is cleared within 2 days

How do I proceed further in this case they r still replying that their RH is not yet responded

IF you do what @Tejo brother had said, then it will make them clear your cheque ..
That is key here .. the RBI BO complaint..
Get formal communication from them about the delay in clearing your cheque and file the complaint and watch how the drama unfolds from your couch !! basically you need some sort of evidence for this fcuk up ..
They can not hold your cleared funds from your other account, foever .. It is a serious issue

This is utter rubbish, Delite and Select is no way related. They messed up something and trying to cover it up.

not as much as we wanted to do.. sometimes we need to use "the whipping stick" .. this only can reslut in resoultion.. an unfortunate fact...
Trust me, if you do this once, see how much respect you get from the concerned branch in the future... but do it gently...
you need to tell them that they had forced you to go to RBI ..

yes, mail someone from the bank, and get that evidence..in writing.....
Once debit happens from your other account , they can not withhold your funds for more than a few days for anything other than a pressing reason... and there is no real reason in your case..

Scenario 1-
Visit the branch and ask the BM to give in writing on letter head of bank about what have they done.
And video record the whole conversation. Also click images of both your complaint and reply.

If they deny giving in writing, ask the BM email id and mail your complaint along with cheque number then and there. And ask the BM to reply to the mail.

Once you get that, file RBI ombudsman complaint with your mail and their reply.
Tip- do this RBI complaint infront of BM. See their reactions and your work be done instantly when they look at that RBI ombudsman page on your phone.



Scenario 2
Incase the BM doesn't reply to your mail, just use your complaint mail to file a complaint with RBI. You can do this as well.

Few more tips
1. Download your bank statement (issuer and indus) as of today. The bank may make a backdated entry to your account. You can prove with bank statement that no cheque was credited to your indus account.
2. Write a complaint on a a4 sheet and just take a seal of bank from the BM. Click an image of that complaint after seal and sign of BM. This will act as a valid proof for RBI complaint.

Received Reply on the same day with SR number

They keep on sending apology emails and asking more and more time
even after 14 days They did not credit my 2L amount
I am done with this all
Finally raised a complaint against Indusind bank In RBI BO portal

RBI is focusing on many banks and taking actions against them
I don't know why Indusind is escaping
They don't respond to emails on time.....
Their IVR is terrific....
Their accounts get freeze unusually
waiting for their reply is like waiting for the rain in the desert....
Their Net/mobile banking is still in 90's

The RBI should take action on them for not maintaining all these which they did for kotak and HDFC

I forgot to mention that I also requested them to close my delite ac first and then proceed with the select
They did not close my delite ac till date

Guyss... Pls stay away from this bank they might give good returns on FD but if our money gets freezed or if we get any issue they won't respond and their service is Too bad.

Now THIS is what warrants a straight up RBI complaint. This is a grave issue, they can’t club accounts and funds this way.

I have their Legend Credit Card linked to Select Account have a lakh still as AMB got a request for Rekyc I sent the documents then went to Bank Account around June first week for Statement print along with Bank seal for official VISA purposes they gave the same. I enquired that day whether KYC is updated they said KYC is all fine in your Customer ID no issues.

Then when I tried booking BmS BOGO from Legend got message that card is in block state. Couldnt understand what happened mailed Level 1 IndusInd on 14th June no reply called them CC was asking for Service request number which I never received as reply then after 10 days 24th June directly sent mail to nodal officer saying this is my issue. Got a reply with Service Request number and then after 3 days received reply you need to send KYC documents to ccrekyc@indusind for unblocking. Immediately that day itself sent my Voter ID which according to them was one of the documents to both ccrekyc and nodal.officer@indusind. Got a SR immediately on June 27th but didnt get any reply after that I called CC on July 8th asking for status with the help of SR they said nodal.officer forwarded it to ccrekyc team (I sent to both of them dont know the need of forwarding) and it seems after scrutiny ccrekyc rejected the ReKYC. When I asked the reason for rejection they said they dont know.

I was seriously angry about this behaviour that I immediately raised a complaint against IndusInd to RBI BO and also asked them monetary compensation for going behind this issue for almost a month.

Any idea how long it takes for status of complaint to RBI takes be updated?
