Looks good but don't know what to say,

22, Self Employed, Monthly 50k spends, 4 Paid Cards with fee 1860 or spends required for waiver 6L ..

Anyway, Good luck and don't miss the payment.
I am using CCs since I turned 18 (secured) + BNPL since 17 (got a minor PAN card at 16), no missed payments yet 🙂

My cashback for last year with just Millenia and Amazon Pay was 12k+ so I don't really mind the annual fees given that these paid cards will easily pay for themselves many times over.
Are you salaried??
No, if I had the same take home amount as a salaried person then CC applications would be much easier 🙁

I am a contractor, so I do have a stable monthly income. I use 44ADA presumptive taxation for filing so my income on ITR is quite low + not many benefits apart from a few paid leaves.

Ah that is impressive. You have a good solid credit history already for 4-5 years that's why the headstart on unsecured CCs with big limits. Well done. I started with CCs at the age of 38 and "rushed" and got around 17 of them in 2 years. If only someone had guided me but they always told me credit cards were dangerous 🙁

I've had Sub 20L spends on Regalia last FY and the buggers won't even consider enhancing the limit or the upgrade of the card. CC Team promised I'll get the Infinia offer if I spend just 7.5L in 6 months and despite exceeding, they won't consider. I had them say it verbally via RM which is why I have no records to put a claim. Now reading several posts, it seems like the limit needs to be enhanced first before I can work on the spends, otherwise it doesn't seem like it's gonna work.
I think the limit needs to be around 8L before you can upgrade. You mentioned it was 20L.. typo maybe?

Spends, not typo. FL is sub 7L (Which is why I probably didn't get the offer but the team should've clearly said it -- I was only told spends needed). This is my primary card and all biz spends were put on this card back then (I've started to diversify now).
Nicely tabulated. Is this in Excel or some app?
Thanks. It's Notion app's Table view.

1. HDFC Millenia - 5L (paid but already hit spend waiver)
2. HDFC Tata Neu Infinity - 5L (shared) (paid but already hit spend waiver)
3. ICICI Amazon Pay - 5.1L (LTF)
4. ICICI Platinum - 5.1L (Shared)(LTF)

6. Axis Flipkart - 2L (LTF)
7. Kotak League - 6L (LTF)
8. Sbi Simplyclick - 1.34L (paid but already hit spend waiver)

Would you mind sharing how did you get emeralde and infinia ltf and with such generous limit?

I had long term (>10yrs) banking relationships with both ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank (Savings and Current accounts).

One fine day, I got a pre-approved offer for LTF Infinia in netbanking with 10lac limit. After two months, I exceeded the limit twice in the same month and got the option to increase the limit to 25lacs.

(3yrs later) For Emeralde, I read this forum and understood that NRV of 2Cr is required. Contacted my RM and told him upfront that I wanted Emeralde LTF and I will be keeping the required NRV for a week at most. He agreed and got me Emeralde LTF.

Does your wife earn more than you?

Let's put it this way.
She is salaried and on a good profile so easy to get cards approved and most of her cards are old ones.
I am self employed and i was using only ICICI cards till last October. Others I have gotten since then. Next on my list is AU zenith card which I will apply next month as got 8 inquiries since last month so got to cool down.

Yup salaried get CCs more easily than self-employed (more rejections) despite showing them ITR.

True.
In my case I am not available in my office all the time. Axis office verification failed because of this as they weren't ready to do it another day. So, I have to be careful while applying for cards regarding verification procedure.
