Axis Airtel Card cashback blunder.

I recently got Axis Airtel Card and on generation of statement, I realised that any bill payments done on Airtel App, be it Airtel bills or others, is being counted under 25% category. This means that there is no way to tap into Rs 500 monthly utility bill payment benefit as of now.

Refer to the screenshot below. The only payment in this month was for my electricity bill of Rs 1595 and cashback shown is Rs 300 whereas it should have been Rs 159.5.



Fellow community members, I would request you to keep above in mind while getting this card or wait till Axis settles these reporting issues with Airtel.

My axis airtel ( MC Variant ) credit card was also showing account type as " Other " & no credit limit was mentioned.

Mailed pno & they asked cibil report with control number. So I sent them & within 2 working days they have changed account today from " Other " to " Credit Card ".

And now credit limit is also mentioned.

same, mine was also handled by one shitty lady, who did not know anything about this and hence mine also in air now. no updates. I don't know how these kind of shitty people make their way to PNO

Before my account gets added, there's a joint effort from the community to get this rectified. I'm hoping mine gets reported in the right manner. Otherwise I may need to rely on the bamboo if the bank fails to rectify it on time.

I finally got an email asking me to wait 3 days, also got a call saying the same thing. Took me 4 tries to catch an officer who was able to read.

ye I had a similar experience before the last call. While on call, She was looking at my cibil report and told me, The credit enquiry was for credit card, and its normal. I was furious but I asked her name, Then politely asked her to go to page 3 where my Airtel card was reported. Then she understood what was the problem and told me, she will talk to the backend team and get this fixed.

Axis need to pay me for training their employees.

I mailed them on 13th july & they replied on same day that they received my mail & will reply in 3 working days.

But today morning I checked on cibil that it was corrected.

Similar experience here . Airtel axis card is not reported on Experian.
Reported as loan in highmark.
Reported as other in cibil

One more blunder I haven't mentioned lol. I have paid my ICICI credit card bill using Axis Airtel Mastercard credit card on July 01. Now it's patched.
