Axis Airtel Card cashback blunder.

I recently got Axis Airtel Card and on generation of statement, I realised that any bill payments done on Airtel App, be it Airtel bills or others, is being counted under 25% category. This means that there is no way to tap into Rs 500 monthly utility bill payment benefit as of now.

Refer to the screenshot below. The only payment in this month was for my electricity bill of Rs 1595 and cashback shown is Rs 300 whereas it should have been Rs 159.5.



Fellow community members, I would request you to keep above in mind while getting this card or wait till Axis settles these reporting issues with Airtel.

Yes bro you can download pdf by using Print Report function in CIBIL website. Currently CIBIL app doesn't have this feature.

I download it from ICICI iMobile being a wealth customer.
Lot's of option are there, Freecharge, Amazon everyone gives you CIBIL and you can print the page.

@Chaitanya-a @4uziaul @pprakash11 @Nishan11 They are asking to send latest CIBIL report in PDF with control ID.Is it ok to send whole PDF or Axis part only for privacy reasons?

Yes send complete cibil report as asked. Don't mask anything. I also did same.

In CIBIL, my Account Type has been updated to 'Credit card'

Yes my CIBIL also reflecting Airtel Axis as credit card.

In CIBIL, mine is reflecting as credit card now.
But in EXPERIAN, EQUIFAX and CRIF still Axis Bank is showing Others/Loan, a little bamboo I have done to Axis MD Desk waiting for their reply

Raise your complaint directly to RBI with all proof, references, CIBIL report, all mails.

For me pno fixed the issue. I think you have to wait till next reporting date.
Mine was updated on 25th of that month

Earlier mine was corrected too and Single Credit account was showing in CIBIL after removal of Other Account, but again that Other Account appears with Credit Card account. So 2 Account are meaningless and one extra account definitely impact CIBIL score in future.

Facing similar issue. Earlier they corrected. Now showing both credit card ( showing actual CL ) & other account ( its showing sanctioned limit which is much lower than my CL ).

Just wrote mail to pno with cibil report. Kindly update me if you get update.

Even if you don't care about EXPERIAN, CRIF and EQUIFAX

Axis Bank has messed these above three bureaus too by reporting CC as others and not mentioning limit.

Axis increased my limit on airtel card by 150% after sending ITR of 23L & Computation. Still it feels so low .

Card was issued on April 2023 with 1.25L limit.
