Is early check-in not allowed at Changi Airport? Our flight on the last day is at 8 PM, and our hotel check-out is at 12 PM. We were planning to explore Changi Airport, but we heard check-in is only allowed 3 hours before the flight.

You can checkin upto 48 hours early depending on the airline you are flying. Which airline is it?

I withdrew 200 ringgit in cash from hsbc-amanah atm (located just outside of the arrival hall after customs and immigration). No extra charges. For this I used indusind indie dc. Kept this cash for small vendors where card is not used and for emergency. Ended up with more than 100 ringgit after the trip as I used cc everywhere.

I used scapia cc for all shopping and payments. Worked each time without fail.

I was referring to Malaysia.

OCBC, HSBC etc atm doesn't charge any extra fees from their side in Singapore. Just make sure to decline currency conversion and withdraw in local currency and NOT in home currency.

If early checkin not possible, you may come to airport around 12 noon. Leave luggage in luggage room and then go back to city. Come back to airport around 6 pm.

Update 1: MakeMyTrip messed up the cab , they sent cng vehicle so no space for luggage. We cancelled and booked via uber then again cng came here also . But this guy helped us to manage load luggage, reached airport exactly 3hrs ago

Update 2: finished immigrations and security check , entered into 080 international lounge.
I used canara rupay select card
My wife used hsbc cashback card.
They gave 2 voucher each for complementary alcohol drinks

Edit: they verified the card name with hoarding pass carefully.

Depends on the airlines, if its SIA, you can drop your luggage many hours before the flight. Not sure the exact number, please look it up online.

I'm travelling on 6th Oct until 14th Oct. Can you please share your itinerary which can help to plan mine?

This was my itinerary,

- Went to Universal Studio on Sunday cause Lunar Festival. Make sure to get express pass. There are two routes to complete universal studio, go in opposite direction to what most people go.
- Porsche Studio is a cafe with Porsche cards in it. They also have simulators on upper floor if you are into it.
- Flower Dome and Cloud Forest requires a you to walk a lot. Be prepared.
- China Town for me was basically visit to Buddha Tooth relic temple. I am not even sure it was China Town
- Skygarden Capita Spring is a nice place but was temporarily closed when I visited, so please call them up before visit.
- Take a Sky line to Sentosa island from main land, its pretty nice!
- If you want a relaxing travel / with parents, choose grab taxi. Your travel would be much enjoyable.
- To get on top of MBS, either you can go to the restaurant or deck, Restaurant in afternoon is big no go, please reserve your table in advance. I would choose deck if i have to visit again.
- My itinerary was quite laid back, no rush.

Update : my relatives encouraged us to use the lounge and they are wondering how we get free foods lol (canara select debit card ) .
Used priority pass digital card for me and lounge key for my wife (federal celesta card ) .
