BOB Lite Acc Frozen

TF Buzz
So, I had opened a BOB Lite acc on my mother's name in Sept. The welcome kit got returned due to some arrogant Postman who just purposely RTO'd (Gujarat) it.

Account got frozen and I was roaming around BOB branch with application for a week (kabhi lunch, kabhi employee gayab etc ), just to redirect that Welcome kit again.

Yesterday, I've finally received that kit but the acc is still in FROZEN state. Will it be active again automatically or do I have to visit the branch {from earlier experience, I don't wanna}

Visit the branch or drop a mail to customer care. Wait for a few days than complaint to RBI and get the compensation of this hassle.

They have a website for complaint.
Just drop a complaint, I guess within 24 hours the account will be unfreeze.

Should I wait for some days before raising a complaint?
Like maybe it takes time to get it unfrozen automatically?
No need, just raise the issue. Even if the issue got resolved, you can give them a feedback and you can ask the exact reason also you will get to know how your branch response.
In my case branch manager called me for a resolution.

Can I talk to them on her behalf?

As per my experience, the BOB welcome kit is redirected to the base branch if it is not delivered to the customer. Not sure what went wrong in your case.

I had also asked the same thing to the bank employee and she said 'humare yha aisa-ich hota h'

Update - Received a call from regional dept, she said you have to visit the branch again with welcome kit and an application for unfreezing the acc.
Now, I'm really pissed af

Visit the branch, and if this time they didn't help, complaint against the branch on the same website.
