Being an Imperia customer for couple of years, in HDFC website under Imperia banking features, this particular statement is not there, but where as in my HDFC mobile application it's showing access to super premium credit card, means eligible for Infinia?

I was imperia customer for a year, followed up with branch multiple times, but couldn't get infinia. Really, a marketing gimmick.
Had to fight with grievances team over multiple emails to finally get it.

From day 1 am premium customer i have got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING 🙂
It's not IMPERIA OR EXPERIA the FD's and balance you hold matters.
None of the bank says that you're actually eligible for the specific card after getting into relationship banking except Axis bank.
They mention specifically Select card will the issued and burgundy customer is pre qualified for that card.

don't know about imperia, but for preferred, their 'super.premium' card was regalia/millenia. misleading advertising. just like their 'LIFETIME FREE*' which is spend based.

But no other bank asks their customer to send physical form to their head office. You just have to visit any branch and its done. HDFC has very annoying approach.
true.
they had asked me to send some documents by post i their chennai office during peak lockdown.

i had to write an email to them saying this is not possible. they replied saying that as a one time exception, they are allowing me to send documents via email!

so when i sent the documents as attachment in email, they said they did not receive any attachments. i repeated this twice, but they shamelessly said that they didn't receive any attachment files.

They don't want customers to stay with them...fed up of giving services now 😂

nope that ain't true

My brother and I have been HDFC Imperia customers for more than 10 years, but the only card we've ever recieved from HDFC (without begging) has been the Regalia 😂.
I am currently a freelancer so providing income docs is always an issue.
After pushing my (completely useless) RM for months, I was finally upgraded to a DCB card. But the upgrade process was a disaster wherein the moron who came to do the address check refused to believe I work as a freelancer from home(!!) and my application was rejected. After a lot of heated words, I was requested to reapply and I finally got it. My brother still holds a Regalia, and although his current credit limit is 20 lakhs, HDFC is not offering any upgrade (except to Millennium, which is a joke) and he refuses to ask the RM to help.
Contrast this with my experience with Axis Bank. I opened a Burgundy account with them a couple of years ago and no income docs were ever asked for any of their premium cards (I hold Vistara Infinite, Magnus and Reserve). Maybe it's also because my Axis RM is a gem. Not sure if that's the reason. But in general, I feel more appreciated as a customer with Axis. Not saying that everyone will have the same experience!
