How to get BOB Eterna as LTF

I was able to get upgraded to LTF Eterna after chasing BOB Financials for 1 year plus.

Seems like they finally just gave up 🙂

PS: My ITR was eligible but I had opted for BOB Premier Card at the start which was LTF. Later learnt that Eterna was also offered LTF basis ITR
Bro, if you can share the mails, it will be helpful. I am in the same boat as you.

My ITR is 30L+ and many of my friends have got Eterna LTF but I wrongly selected Premier at the time of application.

As promised earlier over call, 6 months period is over and I request for upgrade to Eterna LTF.

PS: I had to fill form and send all financial data as requested by them.

Ahh I see... I think now they don't issue unless one holds premium banking with them. (Idk what they call it).

Yes, few folks reported that.

For me, it was a 1 yrs plus journey, starting Mar 2022 or so.

Got Eterna sometime in Q2 2023
Yeah, that time, I think they had a promotion running for LTF... If they run that again, I will try for that. Let's see.

Regarding reason of decline. Guidelines here.
I used the same with SBICard - reason they gave -> "business reasons" 😕😕

+ all that fluffy language that declining a card is not measure of your credit wrthiness...blah blah

For SBI, more accurate decline was available with the agents, who tracked my application and told that it's "approval overleveraged" reason.

I got same from SBI Nodal team after escalation... account over-leveraged. In simple terms too many credit cards!

Whats the best way to reapply? Should I close all the cards I am not using first?

There are some cards I dont mind closing down if that would help with getting Eterna.

Axis Airtel
Axis Flipkart (closed last week)
One Card LTF
ICICI Coral LTF
ICICI Amazon Pay LTF
RBL World Safari FYF

I have 20+ cards, so may be they are right 🙂

I tend to keep cards active and not close unless they are not LTF.

In your case, not sure if over leveraged will actually be the case.. but if it is and you want to close, my suggestion would be RBL as it is not LTF

How many cards do you have in Total. I have around 17-18 Credit Cards which are reported to CIBIL. (This month, added 3 new). So, for me when they say too much leverage, it makes sense.
