Keep checking the netbanking portal and in the coming days you will start seeing the DCB card appearing.

But income does not meet the criteria, should we still send the income documents?
Asking for income documents is standard procedure. My income didn't meet the criteria either, but I did meet the spend criteria and was even short of the limit criteria at 7.23L against the required 8L. The upgrade to Infinia still came through.

So chill maadi and send your documents right away 🙂

Hi, when you upgraded to infinia? how much was your spend for that. Do you have any other open relationship with HDFC bank. Please share your experience.

Hi, I currently have DCB black metal card. I had been upgraded from DCB to DCB metal just 4 months back.

I have already spent more than 7.5 lakhs in these 4 months on my metal card. I havr the ITR of 50+. I am new to this so I wanted any suggestion if it would be a good move to ask for the upgrade now or wait for 6 months. Can someone share any advice on this ?

HDFC usually asks for 6month cooldown between card upgrades. Give it a try now and if they deny the upgrade, then try again after 2months

Recieved the Infinia Card without sharing any income documents. It was done on the basis of spends and current limit. 🙂

Hi,
I am sort of a newbie here. I have a question, kindly help.

I am an HDFC Imperia customer and had a DCB plastic cc which was FYF. Then in second year I met the 5L spend criteria and got the fee waived off. But in the third year I could not meet the 5L criteria and had only spend about 3L. So, I sent an email to “hdfc cc grievance redressal” asking for an upgrade to LTF either on same card or to LTF DCB Metal. But, they rejected my request saying they are not issuing any LTF cards at the moment.
So then I asked if they could downgrade my card to Regalia as LTF; for which they told they can downgrade to Regalia Gold FYF. And I chose that option and agreed. Now they downgraded my card to Regalia(not gold) and I got the card just today.

I forgot to redeem my reward points before the conversion and didn’t even check how many points were there. Right now when I check the netbanking portal I see zero points under the DCB card and some 28k points under the new Regalia card. How do I know if they retained all my points or did some conversion? Is the reward points redemption same in both cards, did I miss out on something by not redeeming the points before downgrading?

Requesting the experts over here to please help me out with these(probably naive) questions.

Thanks

Rewards points get transferred at appropriate ratio during card upgrade process. You probably had 14k points in DCB, which would match the value of 28k points in Regalia

It gets adjusted to match the RP value of the current card. I upgraded from Regalia to DCB last year and my RP was reduced to half.
So you would have had 14K in DCB, that got converted to 28K in Regalia.

Hi, need suggestion for upgrade
Currently i have regalia LTF with CL of 14L. My last 3 months spend are 4.1L and can reach 7.5L in next 3 months
Current gross salary 3L but net salary of 2.2L
Would i be eligible for Infinia without meeting salary requirements?
Else would it possible for me to get DCB plastic, as i wont be able to meet 4L per quarter milestone for DCB metal, I can see that DCB is available on HDFC website?
Finally, after a month of back and forth with HDFC I've received Infinia, all thanks to TF community.
