Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags
Update 7th August 2024:
Courtesy @Sriim for the ICICI tag holders to enable options of fuel by ICICI tags:
You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

Any one facing issue using ICICI fastag in HP Pay? It was working fine all these while, but suddenly from last month in payment page fastag option was not shown. I delinked and linked again, and selected ICICI fastag option in payment methods menu. But still its not showing after scanning QR 🙁.

One thing i notices in ICICI fastag portal, it is showing Min KYC now. Earlier it was full KYC and i could recharge more than 10K per month, but now its limited, Could it be the reason for HP Pay issue?

EDIT: Logged into iOS version, Fastag option is showing now. In android its not showing 🙁

Yes, facing the same issue in Android. Tried re-installing the app as well. My ICICI fastag is Min KYC too, not full.

I don't see an email for such type of complaint and recently visited 3 more petrol pumps near me and found no one is interested in accepting payment through hp pay qr code.. 1 did agree for hp paycode (but that doesn't allow using icici fastag). I am looking for other ways to pay at petrol pump using amazon pay balance or any other way to get easy 5% at least cashback without going for a dedicated fuel credit card.

If anyone have any ways that they are using kindly share as using hp pay qr code is becoming next to impossible these days..

Yes they usually discourage customers to use hp pay qr code. Many pumps in my area have painted faulty qr codes which don't get recognised or paytm qr codes instead

This seems to be a recent development. Have used HP Pay without any issues at various petrol pumps, but at my last filling one of the pumps refused to accept it.

At least in my area, so far no issues in acceptance of HP Pay. In fact in my regular fuel station in whitefield/bangalore, i see a improved acceptance from the last month. Before that, they usually have only one QR code printed and whenever we ask, they go, search and get it. But from last month, i see the attendants printed/pasted the QR code in the back side of the ID card which everyone wears. So its becoming easy now!

The one in HSR layout removed the QR code pasted on the pillars and when they say "HP Pay illa saar".

And there are no hp bunks all the way from ecospace to Banashankari

I only use BOB Energie.

BOB energie doesn't give 4% accelerated rewards for wallet load.

For HP QR code, it gives 4% + 1.5% yes. But not all HP pumps accept payment using QR code.

Same issue with the IDFC fastag also. After using it in iOS are you able to use it on android also?
