Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

While loading money into hp pay app there wasn't any surcharge levied,but axis ended up levying surcharges why is that ?

Acquirer Bank.

Usually for Fuel and Govt tnxs, Acquirer Bank charge surcharge at the time of settlement.

Either charge surcharge at the time of Payment or at the time of settlement.


Also I think charges are already mentioned in HP Pay App.

i may have over looked it
because while paying through amex it asked for surcharge upfront while for visa and mc it didnt levy any charges upfront but on the transaction egtting billed it levied surcharge

Since load charges added by acquiring bank it’s better to have high reward cards only to get used

Magnus card won’t give rewards since Hp is considered as either wallet or utilities

I'm using swiftly my IDFC Fastag at HPCL COCO bunks.

@nilan i regularly use ICICI fastag in HP Pay in bangalore. Couple of months before i had similar issue, but removing and adding again solved that issue. FYI, OTP will come from ICICI, not from HP Pay during payment.

It will be from bank or fastag issuer not from hp
So check it with idfc in ur case

I had many issues initially. Removing and adding them fixed it all the time. Now touchwood it is smooth. Just try to iron out the initial issues and it is good.

The above change in icici was not needed in the past. Looks like a new change. Only Idfc had it.

This is right & you need to login via customer ID to see the option, not via mobile number.
