It's not specific to Kotak, almost every Indian bank is doing this shady business of luring customers with nice benefits and then later strike with devaluation or change in tnc.

This is the email I received on 17th Jan 2025. If they don't credit cashback for transaction done on Unipay till this date, I'm going to take this to RBIO.

Also TnC update email was received on 28th Jan 2025.

So now, it's confirmed. Unipay walo cashback nahi milega.

I enrolled for super 811 on 9-11 Jan, paid bills through Unipay in between 15-18 Jan. Luckily half of the bills were paid through Setu, so cashback credited for Setu txns only.

I've opened another account for my family member on Jan 26th. Made spends via virtual debit card as I didn't receive platinum debit card until Feb 1st.

As per the updated terms which was updated on their website prior to Jan 26th virtual debit card spends are also eligible for cashback. However the cashback for those spends is a big 0. Lotak playing both ways.

Only got 19rs for offline swipe. Paid cc bill on unipay on the same day as that, 20th Jan. Didn't get anything. Wow. They have clearly defrauded people with their t&c before getting the super program.

I would have trusted you, but this time the situation is different.

X person made a payment of 5000 on Unipay and the remaining 5000 on Canara. He should have received 500, but he received 250 instead. This means that the "utility" payment got excluded.

We have never received cashback in split payments.

Hope you understand the issue now.
